The many places people in Houghton "hook-up" is normally in Houghton Park or at the old cemetery this is mainly the people who wear tracksuit bottoms and have little imagination.
The park or anywhere scruffy where all the charvers will be sipping white lightning and getting shagged on the bench taking cowies the lot

The play park next to the Davenport School, esoecially on a Friday. Avoid unless you want to be disturbed by drunken yobs while your kid is on the swings.

The cemetry by houghton cut, that lucious place where you met the girl of your dreams by the swing on the tree, supping your bottles of pulse and feeling dizzy by the massive cliffs over looking you! then you'd wander through that gate and feel like you were trespassing (you probably were!) one of your mates would make a drunken noice and you'd shit yourself thinking farmer palmer was coming to chop you knackers off! mint! token casper the friendler ghost!
Graswell park but if ppl want to go to pubs who r aged 13-17 they should try the queens head(the ymca)
elizabeth wheatleys karaoke nights in the brittania pub has to be one of the best nights in houghton.(but watch out when she does "new york new york"with Harry Maddison for the high kicking legs and the flash of her new knickers bought that day from the bargin bin).
