Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
The Crow was the best pub around but they changed it, modernised it and now it's shut down as it lost it's appeal. Used to get packed. Bring back the crow!!!
The Twilight Zone - I'm not exactly the oldest person, but I have to say the people I've seen there must have really good plastic surgeons - feels like I'm surrounded by a load of 'fresh faced' 15 years olds!!
There's the twilight zone, where a lot of drinking and throwing up goes on. Relatively easy to get into-thick bouncers who dont know real from fake if u know wot I mean(no not boobs!).
Twilight-every friday, only problem? no one goes n e more, however dance acts such as pied piper and moose T (who?)have appeared there!
the twlight is good. it can be a bit cheesy but its definatly better than the berkely. thurs nite is student nite and is all dance music, drinks promos also, fri nits are my fave, £1 any drink and its a 70tys and 80tys nite(although more of the 70tys)and saturdays is a bit of every thing but if u dont like partying with teenyboppers, aviod it in on a sat.
My Auntie's old house or Cambourne.
paradox is in falmoth, not redruth, and is crap
The Penventon Hotel is the most popular place to hang out on those balmy cornish evenings and hear some thumping music. Personally I hate the place.
Paradox is ok and not to bothered if youre under 18, the rest ate CRAP
the only one is the twilight zone but that is strictly for the teeny boppers, if you're over 15 forget it
VERY GOOD night Club "The TWILIGHT ZONE" - usually only 2 or 2.50 to get in before 22:00. Great Atmosphere, on Thursday/Saturday nights... Next to the Penventon Hotel ( 3* ). Also open Friday, with some other openings too ( Wed - teens night ).
Live Music Venues
Boho aka The Green Room, has now become a pool hall.
The green room is a relitively new pub, formerly the Boho, and they have Live alternative music/djs on friday nights, Hip hop djs on saturday and lots of other stuff going on in the week. Drinks are fairly cheap. Also theres a massive garden where you can chill and if youre lucky there might be A BARBIE QUE ON! what fun!
the crow bar is brilliant... great if tiny mosh pit. fab atmosphere, v. friendly, and loads of live music.
My Auntie's house again.
Cinemas
The cinema in Reduth apparently has a special scrren where you get waiterservice at your seats! They've added on a nice bar.
No, but is was a great building in its heyday. Old 1920s cinema, now quite dilapidated.
nuthing interesting is situated in redruth, thats y us kids are soooo bored! the cinemas ok, a has an offer with a local paper so its cheaper, loads of people go 2 that, thats quite good!
bowling? No. Quaser? No!
The cinema must be the only nice place in the town, apart from the "Meadery". It's the only place I know where you can be served a whole roast chicken by women with incredibly large breasts. The women HAVE to be big breasted to work there. wow.
will go to truro to avoid this cinema, sound quality is terrible. They seem to take pleasure in making you queue
The Cinema is now closed
small cinema showing arty films at the art centre.
the regal flea pit is the only place. bob martin's flea spray available in the foyer
The big screen in the local cinema is worth having a look on it, if the film is good, too.
