• pepito, down in Mackerel Square, close to sea front. Fashion for the younger set, definately not the "wincyette pyjama brigade". Bit expensive but good stuff. Worth a look. Also "Richards in High St, for the more mature gent and a new undie shop in town as well"
• the new kid on the block!!! try pepito. a new fashion shop with a range of stylish clothes! just what budleigh needs! a bit pricey but well worth it!!!
• Good for rich old ladys with matching outfits for their lap dogs
• My mum tells me that in the big supermarket type thing which used to be Normans- I think it's Plymco now, they do quite nice fleeces and sportswear for bargain prices ! However this is a Mum's opinion, when browsing myself the prospect of cheap, guarantee the elastic will go within 5 minutes of wearing pack of 4 pants for a fiver was less than appealing. Let's just say it's not high fashion !
• A small town, so none of the big names. There are a couple of clothes shops I think. It is best to go to nearby Exmouth to shop. Exmouth is fairly crummy, but larger than Budleigh.

Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

• Brook gallery down toward Mackerel Square, ideal place for SUV driving incomers to purchase art works for their holiday homes!!
• Next to petrol station, messy shop with lots of cool stuff - room for one person at a time only though!
• This is what Budleigh does best. Take your pick from fabby cream teas, clotted cream ice cream ( yum ), homemade Devon biccies and toffee and fudge or to handcrafted hats and Budleigh bears!What more could you want! I don't know his name but there is an artist from Budleigh who does local pictures of the town and surrounding countryside, you often see him sitting around the town on his little stool drawing! Oh and don't forget Drucilla's for your ethnic wares!
• I don't know about arts and crafts, but there's a great deal of local fare like clotted cream fudge, home-made icecream and other naff Devonshire ideas
• Multiple variations on a theme of art galleries...... Also some curios (eg. teddy bear shop...!!)
