There is now a proper concrete skate park at Crooklets. FREE but you are supposed to bring your own hat and padding.

The Skateboard park is down on the edge of Crooklets Car Park - the competition is annual in July and in 2005 it was bigger than ever, in town, down the main high street, Belle Vue and up at Widemouth Bay - great fun a real event - people came from miles around to participate and spectate
Big ass 10 stair rail by the surf club. long 4 in the crescnt car park. The good ol' "BENTS gap". of course the skatepark. THe light a bust im afraid.Thats about it unless u wanna skate a HUGE double like a 20 at the school.
Skate park at crooklets
the light project has some gaps and benches and stuff
the ramp may be gone but theres a spanking new park at crooklets beach, dont expect much but there is a ramp and cuople of boxes and stuff.
ramp behind splash but check the new park at crooklets beach
The Ramp is gone ( May 99) !! Rumour has it that new stuff is planned, but we'll have to wait and see.
Ramps by Splash Swimming Pool, and outside Surf Club at Crooklets.
There is a new spined mini ramp at Bude and yes it is a fine ramp! The main section is 3' high and 12' wide - ideal for tricks. Cross over the spine and you travel up a 5' extension which enables you to then build up loads of speed to wind up a huge ollie/flip/grab on the transfer back over. It has been in existence for over a year [Jan 1997] and after heavy sessioning from people as far and wide as Playing Place to Barnstaple it has been re-done with new coping and varnish - this ramp is WOOD not Rareunit. Also plans are afoot to build a street course next to it (or at least a funbox). Directions: go to Bude, head towards Safeway, go into swimming pool car park, there it is!
As well as the ramp there is a spot known as the Blocks. This consists of concrete ledges (waxed of course) of varying heights and lengths. here are also benches and a couple of Drops/stairs + a rail (very high barely nose slidable and kinked).
Skateboard Shops
Plenty of cool activity shops in Bude - check out Belle Vue
