Favourite Building
The pubilic loos seem a favourite with the younger generation these days. Mind you theyre usually locked in the evenings.
My house a source of skate videos, warmth, food, music, bed, sleep UUMM!!
Demolish It Now Building
the house on the quay. What is wrong with us playing football at 2 in the morning???
The heart n' hand pub!
The Mercury mobile phone tower. Apparently serious plans are afoot to demolish it anyway.
Or buildings in this case that are within the Southdown peninsular.
The NEW VILLAGE HALL Its the biggest waste of money. It has virtually no porpose whatsoever. All the council scum where really sketchy about the cost of it alot of back handers apparently. Some really clever bloke named Bishop is sorting them out and the council where craping them selves about it.
The Best Things
Well when the alcohol sets in things always seem good in Millbrook.
peace and quiet and the beach only a mile away.
Posh Nosh. Me my Mates. Sango and the pit. Spar. Torpoint and Plymouth are not too far away.
The Worst Things
Snotty kids with chips on their shoulders who complain that "they" never do anything for "us". Same kids who either vandalise or criticise any attempt to "do anything". Stick to your glue!
Grumpy Old people.
The bloke who lives in the house on the Quay. He dont give the ball back.
After a day in Millbrook Im totally bored, and its full of legends - Smithy for instance!
There is no night life. There is no nice women. There are not many normal people. Its nearly the same as EERIE INDIANA the TV programme. Its full of narrow minded old people. Its full of snitching people. Its full of bag heads. Its full of smackheads. The skatepark vandals your cool in ya. Its full of drop outs. The Rats island in the middle of the lake.
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
Have Your Say...

You can tell us more about Millbrook.
This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here.
(But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)
You can use the add an event form
to tell us about events happening in Millbrook.
Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
