Torpoint, Cornwall Pubs, Cafes, Coffee Shops and Restaurants

Food

• I dont recomend the coffee pot
• Dawat indian, Wongs chinese, Knockers for food after the lights shut, orientent, lots of cafe and chip shops. Waterlodge, indian restaurant. Pubs with good food.
• Wongs and the Orientare chinese takaways. To Indian restaurents but ive forgot the names. The chippy down town and the one at the top of town. Go to Millbrook to Posh Nosh its brilliant.
• Lots of chippys and bakeries. Wongs and the Orient are the chinese restaurents in Torpoit and serve very nice food. Sommerfield, spar and a couple of indians.

Pubs

• These are all of the pubs... The Carbeile Inn, Wilcove, The Kings, The Trot, The Mez Bar, The Standard, The Wheelers & The Jubilee.
• torpoint is FILLED with pubs- Carbeile, Standard, Jubilee, Kings, Wheelers... tons
• Lets start at the bottom of the crawl. Kings:- Gorgeous barmaids good music, dodgy arse hole people in it a lot of the time though. I'll skip the Queens. Wheelers:- Full of matlows on night out nights, shite beer, Barmaids think the sun shines out of their arse just cause they were nice once but NOW YOU'RE FLUMPS SO GET OVER YOURSELVE'S!! A couple of them are nice though. I can't be arsed writing about the rest they're just pubs, Jubilee, Trot, Standard, Bar Mez.
• Most the pubs in Torpoint are shithouses who specialise in selling rotten beer to pissed baby-sailors. Most locals get in a cab and go somewhere else.
• The carbeile is cool, he dont mind kids meeting in there for pool and most staff dont give a shit if u go on the fruitees.
• Carbeile, the owners let kids in and let u fiddle with the telly, play pool and the staff dont care if u gamble.The rest r full of karoke nights and the wheelers is full of violent fukin matlows.

• Carbeile Inn is where most over 16's go to play pool and hang out with friends. Its an ideal place to meet new people.

• plenty to choose from
• Wheelers, kings, standard, trot, carbeile, jubillie, queens,
• The Queens Arms offers the best drinking by any standards. Soon to include pub grub aswell, a man can be plastered and still not get thrown out.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
