Favourite Building

• Torpoint Ferry as it is a good place to take photos of the ships, eat food and travel across the Tamer.
• ferry
• Spar and Martins house.

Demolish It Now Building

• churches
• The police station, it looks like an old folks home and......there are NO police inside it when you need them.
• Town centre
• Dunno the school.
• The harbour lights.

The Best Things

• The Torpoint ferry
• Not far from the beach.......10 mins by car
• Plymouths close.

The Worst Things

• torpoint in general is absoulutely abismal!!!
• just a quick note 2 say that the torpoint ferry workers DO have personalities and shud not b shot cos my dad works there and u should be bloody greatful cos u wud never get 2 brilliant plymouth else wud ya!(where i live if ya didnt quite get that!lol) he could easily just stop making um work ya no! 'part from that your views on torpoint r gr8-it is a crap place!

• Ferry workers have no personality and need to be lined up against a brick wall and shot

• Never having been further than Plymouth, most of the locals don't realise how lucky they are to live there.
• Bristol and Mount Hawk are too far away. Harbour Lights.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
