Food
Squires! The BEST chips in england. Miles is shite so dont go there, Used to be a cool grotty chippy that we went to when squires was packed. But now it's trying to be "cool" and is just crap. Chips are greasy and SO ARE THE PPL WHO WORK THERE!!!!
Burger place by Zebra Crossing
Stopped at Braunton the other day on way back to London for a bite. Went to a curryhouse called 'Bay of Bengal' I think. It's the one you come to first when driving from Saunton. Not bad at all - better than many in London. Apart from that, Braunton made me want to cry.
Pubs
The Williams Arms In Nearby Wrafton Is Ok. Good Food But Poor Waitress Service. The Cutlery And Plates Were Really Clean. Great Washer Uppers.

There is many a pub in braunton. Just, pick carefull. The Aggie is okay. The george is crap. All the people in there seem to be related, and extream "cosy" atmosphere.
The White Lion up by the Curry House is where the Surf crowd now seem to go. This will change, it always does in Braunton. People drink at a place for a couple of months and then move on somewhere else
Cafes and Coffee Shops
The Grinde = Shite coffee shop. Trying to be "Trendy" and also doubles up as a crap surf clothes shop. Fine if you like Crap Clothes that smell of cheap coffee. And abousulte MUST for any (aspiring) local posers.
Cross tree - Shit. Shitty interior and shitty food.
Chaplins used to be good for Breakfasts. I think that they have moved into bigger premises. Burger place by Zebra Crossing
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
