Favourite Building
THE PUBS. Mainly the market house inn thats the one that gets the punters at weekends.
Any pub - I cant really say that Cullompton is famous for its architecture.
The soon to be McDonalds.... in the next few weeks the residents of Cully are going to put on an average of 2 stone per week until they can't move... at all!!
Demolish It Now Building
The bus shelter its not a bilding but hey who cares stops the little kids staying out late at night hanging around the streets.
The Church is almost on its way to being a ton of rubble at the moment so I dont want to tempt fate by saying that! From the motorway (at night) it looks like a block of flats.
the town hall, with town council, please give up now only a few of you have a clue
Alfie's Bargains shop building. It's one of those tacky shops with stock from the late eighties like Kylie, Jason, and NKOTB badges advertised as "New, Just In" in the window! I also used to believe it was where Father Christmas used to get all the presents... well I was nearly right, my Mum shopped there all the time!
The Best Things
There is alot of history in the good old place, Its on the small side but you would be amazed at what it has to offer.
Friday nights at the Kings Head, the yearly Razzfest event. Lots of things really.
McDonalds, Pubs, Takeaways, Ginger, err....
The Worst Things
Its a bit on the chilly side but it can be nice at summer time.
I could not possibly repeat them without offending half of Cullompton
The lack of decent shops, The Bullring Posse, the bus service (damn you stagecoach)...
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
