Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

• most of the shops down pottery court have closed down due to lack of business
• Nice pics and odd ornaments in Picture framing shop an occasional bargain in charity shops
• Old Pottery Court is Pukka
• u can get framed in one of the shops
• Lots of arty crafty shops in Pottery Court - very nice if you like that kind of thing
• errrr... not even the tourists come here

Magazine and Comic Shops

• Garbetts Newsagents is the best, they were the first shop to sell newspapers and magazine, the other shops have tried to also, but they don't do it as well as Garbetts. This is a family run business and they have lots of choice, and will order in anything they don't stock. You can have your magazines and papers delivered too This is the place to Buy Lottery tickets
• Garbetts Newsagent, family business, been running for years, nice friendly staff. Rivals of newsagent opposite = The Candy Shop, also family owned but only in the last 10-15 years, recently decided to sell newspapers also!!!
• the newsagent seems quite well stocked if u like hello magazine

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
