Saltmill
Latchbrook - BIG set of 18 and mega drop. Lots of curbs, and sets of 4 and 5 as well as lots of gaps to muck about on
Library wall- a sick 50ft long metal edged wall, put there by the council to stop us skating it! However it's not a bust.
College- sets of 5, 9, 14 (with a rail), walls and a roof off.
Comp- set o' 6 with low rail, mellow flat bank and benches
Gap- A sketchy, medium gap with smooth run off
There is loads more spots (about 17) but I can't be arsed to write them in
*NOTE* We are getting a £100,000 concrete facility for the millenium, it will have driveways, a big spine and a large bowl complex
-St. Stephens, you've already heard about.
-Comprehensive school has a set of 6 with a perfect handrail (Somebody come and grind it!), a rad falt bank thing and some benches.
-Library wall, this baby is about 60ft long and has metal coping right along it's length!!!!They put it there to stop us!!!
-Lesiure centre, has some cool blocks to ollie over and a nearby sketchy drop in called warfelton drop.
-Fire station, fairly large gap which you can ollie or flip, or 360 flip if your called Tom Hobson.
There are a multitude of other sick spots particularly around the industrial estate and lower fore street.
PLUS we are getting a £100,000 concrete park at salt mill for the millenium it's gonna be a southerners livingstone!!!!
Skateboard Shops
The Domain Skateshop is the best. Best prices. Best selection. Skater owned. THEDOMAINSKATEPARK.COM 01752 842999
Living & skating in Saltash is fun............. ......up yer bum. tee hee hee.Firstlic there the amazin anaconda rail at the bottom of the 10ft TC's drop, which is littered by groms of all sizes (breeded by Cummings). Then there's the 9/8ft Library/school roof gap which iz mega shit-up. Only 2 pro's, Portsmouth Pete & and Longboarder Phil from Saltagg Spotssssssssssss have attempted this phat bodacious gap. But unfortunatly both are finally recovering after tail & nose snapping & really bloody busted anals. They spent 2 long, weeks in St. Barnabos, ouch!
Flatspot is the nearest skateshop, but its in plymouth
there is another, Watersports world but they just rip ye off
Flatspot in plymouth greedy marker wants your pennies
GO TO FLATSPOT IN PLYMOUTH, they'll sort you out for boards as it is a ruling park and shop.
FLATSPOT is the place to be but you may be able to get a rare limited edition saltash sketchy t-shirt off of the locals
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
