Food
Go to the Chef's Choice wonderful chips. Can get OAP and kids Portions too.
The Golden Bridge is the best Chinese takeaway, and the Indian restaurant also on the High Street does wonderful food to eat in or takeaway (more expensive though)
My personal opinion is that Weatherspoons is perfect for food, take the whole family. I prefer the Golden Bridge for Chinese take away, and the Indian Tandoori is very highly recommended. There's another Chinese take away on the High Street which is also good. There are two fish and chip shops, opposite each other. There's also a kebab shop which is popular.
Wetherspoons do lovely food and good portion sizes.
yeah, best not if you get what i mean!
creepy chinese, spar
the crown if u ever in crediton or live here and have not been there the food is great and, i mean great, there also there's the grapevine i hear its exspensive though
Many. On Bong is a brill Chineese take a way. General Sir Redvers Buller has a Thursday Curry Nite.
Pubs
Weatherspoons welcome children within their guidelines; before a certain time, and in specified areas. Many pubs in Crediton, too many in my opinion, you should hear the noise when they leave! Some pubs more respectable than others and everyone has their favourite(s). Exchange, Ship, White Swan, are just a few on the High Street. The White Swan has regular live entertainment, and the exchange do at times.
Wetherspoons is the best, Three Little Pigs is OK.
If you like rugby go to the three little pigs, if you like Football go to the exchange. Well that's what it was like when I lived there.
weather spoons seems to be a favorit
loads of them, most rubbish, most empty
the spoon ,the swan, the ship, the exechange, the kirton inn,
the all pretty much dives apart from the spoon.
Loads - some very good some just good but that's purely personal preference. My particular favourites are The Crediton Inn and The Plymouth Inn.
Cafes and Coffee Shops
Woman in Wedges is a bit stroppy. Wetherspoons is relaxing in the day for hot chocolate etc
There's a cafe downstairs in the Helmore's centre, and one almost opposite called Wedges. I personally prefer going to Weatherspoons near the chip shops on the High Street, it's lovely in the day for adults of all ages and kids to have a meal or hot drink etc. They do a gorgeous hot chocolate, the best in Crediton.
Quite a few. The best is the Staion Tea Rooms by far.
worth's the best , wedges the best by far for take away sandwhiches chatter's
snob's cafe
The best one - Wild Thymes- closed a couple of years ago but try the Triple-C Cafe and Kebabland. Good breakfasts from both.
