• Socials in the st marys dining room. awesome dj awesome girls.

• There ought to be a club coz then it would stop all the calne inbreads from coming to chippenham on a saturday night and starting fights
• None whatsoever which is bad for the locals of the surrounding towns!! Half the population of Calne is seen in Buds in Chippenham on a Saturday night, starting fights and dribbling etc!
• The loudest club around is the one by the PIGS!!! It keeps the girls up all night (Friday night) till about 5:00am, I mean how late does the damn thing go on for????
• Ha you are having a laugh... havent got any decent pubs let alone clubs
• NONE! Idols is no more coz it's really wank!!!

• Idols, oh what a classy place and such classy locals!
• Moles next to the brass pigs and also apub on the marlborough road where live bands play
• Never been there, but they say it's pretty ruff.
• There is a new Club in Phelps Parade called "Idols" - Yes it's full of them.
• A new nightclub is being planned for the old Spanngles bar. It should prove to be a better more classy place than Goldiggers in Chippenham.

Live Music Venues

• St Mary's school Chapel rocks!
• The newly refurbished Jolly Miller promises to be an improvement on the stinky hell hole it once was!
• Jolly miller is great, fulcrum WILL perform again
• The jolly miller has some good music. Look out for 'The boys from County hell' They are a local band and absolutly fantastic!
• The Football Club
• Shame Idols shut down eh?
• CALNE TOWN FOOTBALL SOCIAL CLUB - DID YOU SEE DNA 28TH OCTOBER - MORE TO COME - November 25th - Against the Grain - December 16th - Kept in the Dark - January 20th 2001 - Boys from County Hell - Please support and it will grow.
• the jolly miller one of calne's only redeeming factors fulcrum and Razorhead worth a look
• The jolly miller is definatly one of the best music venues in calne the main atractions are Fulcrum and Razorhead (who I saw the other day)heavy metal bands, and the boys from county hell and thorn which are like folk music (but don't let that put you off they're great.
• The Jolly Miller. Bit of a dive but Fulcrum liven it up when they perform!!!
• The Jolly milllaaaaa is wicked indeed and fulcrum have a single out three of the best songs, contact james trigo at james.trigo@talk21.co.uk
• The pubs around there, do a lot of gigs, it's pretty good!
• The Miller is probably the best, although the back room at th Wheatsheaf (oposite the PO) is also good
• Jolly Miller pub on London Road has live music regularly. (Technically in Quemerford, but the only people who will push this point are snobs that don't want to be associated with Calne. Not that I can blame them.)

Cinemas

• I remember the cinema and edit suite!! It was the one at North Wing in a little doorway at the side of the veranda!!! Was the best cinema Calne is ever likely to have EVER!!!
• No chance of there being a cinema in Calne, but if your willing to go a bit further, Swindons cinema next to the supabowl and ice rink is the one to try.
• The edit suite/cinema at John Bentley School
• Bowling? If you are a keen sports bowler then avoid Shaw Ridge like the plague!! This is definitely only for the arcade machine lovers. Travel to Newbury for a decent league set up.
