The Best Things
If you're old it can be quiet, if you're young you can make the noise, it's got a little bit of everything, but it is only a small place
the cliffs
Wadebridge is crap, avoid at all costs.
I wont have to live there for the rest of my life!!
Challenge Anneka Bridge, from that famous game show of the early nineties. At first, sturdy, but as they hurried to complete it on time, the bridge was a bit of a rush job. To cross it is reminiscent of Indiana Jones style rope bridges. Closed occasionally, when people set motorbikes on fire on it.
The river and park is gorgeous.
I thought Wadebridge was nice, although my friends in the Wadebridge Posse at Truro College were quick to assure me otherwise. But oh the stories I've heard! Favourite ones include The Many Adventures Of Angela The Inbred, Tossing Off In A Strawberry Field, and Homosexual Experiences In A Tent. This place is truly inbred capital. And all the females seem to have Blow-Job in front of their names (New Year's 1999) Still, nicer than Bodmin.
Quite a pretty place
In the summer when it rains all the sexy surfy people have to come to Wadebridge as its the nearest place for miles with cinema etc.
The Worst Things
the worst thing is that co-op car park attracts all of the boy racers who hang around playing loud rubbish music and swigging on there cheap cider whilst trying to get some dodgy pills off some brain dead dealer who spends his/her life ripping off granys so they can buy some fags.
sad!!!! I no.
The glass house, i used to hang there when i was younger, but know it's just an eyesore, and why the glass house anyway, it hasm't had glass in it for years, other names for this stupid building, brick house dudley, the gold fish bowl, none of which actually reflect what it is, it would be interesting to find out it's real name
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
