The Best Things

• I'm sure it would be a nice place to retire, just look at the general population.
• The Sea Aller and the Newey The monkey puzzle tree Sledging in the snow up behind seven sisters Jimmys gribbles Walking back from the warren along the cliff tops walk.
• The beach during those hot summer days (we do get them honest).
• The beach, and the summer fair.
• For children and sun lovers alike, Dawlish's beach and sea front will keep you busily relaxing for hours. Of course, when you're on holiday you'll want to buy presents and souvenirs to help you remember your time in Dawlish.

The Worst Things

• It's like toy town you expect noddy and big ears to drive down the street at any minute.
• The loony bin (forgoten its name) The football field the primary school at westcliff used to use the pub at the station 3rd avenue
• Can be pretty dull for kids who live here, as theres not that much going on in the way of entertainment.
• Can be boring
• Nothing for youngesters to do that live locally.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
