Hookup Spots
- Morrisons, hanging around the steps... great.
- always meet up in the earl for a few drinks b4 a lush nite out,drinks are cheap and the food isnt half bad.
- Down the wreck near KLV, no chavs go there so you can sit and chill out.
- Ise lodge skate park was the place to be when it first opened in around 1999/2000.
- gardens.
- the really wierd "cock tower" in the middle of town is allways the first place tht pops into my head- named "cock tower" cus sum1 scratched the L out of clock!!
another place is the market, but if you are on a bike or board then the scary man from the ASK shop may threaten to get all 18 of his "well 'ard" nephews from corby onto you, be warned he will be watching you!!
- Under 16? Skater fag? Chopper's the place for you! Just hang out, but never buy anything! Library gardens, also a great place to hang out, smoke underage, and then run away from anyone remotely chavvy, even when you outnumber them 20:1
- Round the back of leo's restaurant is a really cool chill out spot with that special someone!!!!!
- The Pleasure Park was a real hot spot when I was growing up! Those trains have a long history!!!

- oh yes...becuase kettering has so many cool hookup spots *cough* honestly, there is actually NOWHERE to meet up with your friends, apart from town, a crappy pub or umm mcdonalds. actually thats a lie...some of the more "alternative" youths hang out at the gardens near the library. but dont go there unless your a "misfit" ;)

- Rockingham Road Pleasure Park (not actually on Rockingham Road) is a lovely park with the mandatory Swings & slides (Wicksteeds Finest of course) for the Kids, bowling opportunities & plenty of Space to chuck/kick a ball about. Or why not just SIT!? if your on a bike you can ride round in circles going up & down - you'll see what i mean!
- Me and my m8s normally just hang round everywhere coz sum of the ppl here are wankers and only belive in themselves and we perfer to keep well away but morrisions is fun though.
- In the little green park/garden/whatever its called outside town centre, the small one outside the art gallery with the War Memorial (on which i might add are the names of 2 soldiers who survived the war... go figure).

- We normally go and stand by the steps near the church,(the 1 nxt 2 the library)It's where all the cute skater boys hang out!!!! Watch out for the so called "skater girlz" though coz they give u dirty looks when they think you r about to hit on their boyfriends!!!!

- Wickee Park, just to wind up the ol' security guys...nah u no i luv ya really!wickees a little on the expensive side but an old skool laugh!!
- Places for teenagers seem to include: The Knibb centre (youth club kinda thing on a saturday) which offers all music-minded kids a place to practise and others a place to hang out. Apparantly also open some nights a week. Other places include: Wicksteed park kiddies play area (look out for the Southfields and Tresham students during the day), The Library Gardens (age group 12-15 year old alterna-teens), Morrisons car park (skaters at night)and outside the Corn market hall and the Works whenever there is a gig on. Maccy D's always a good place to look too :P

- Well, if you're into rock music and feel like getting *away* from people who'll shout abuse/start fights with you, the gardens down near the library has to be the place.

- The Pocket Park near Rock 'n' Bowl, I spent most of my summer 2000 evenings there, what a classic time, mind you i was with the people i loved and 16 years old

- The Benches outside Mcdonalds have become quite a good place, as is the fountain opposite WH Smiths.
