Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)

• town centre is a bore it is filthy and an eye sore
• wessie, on the benches or behind londis, or jus walkin bout
• anywhere outside corby
• that wessy!!! pissed evrynight litre of cider!!! not forgetting the 10 L&B its just like sound ASDA!
• The "Green Mile" in Charnwood Road
• for all the stoners n my m8s like 2 sit either in bin sheds up the square, behind my m8s garden in charnwod road, back traks or woods in grt. oakly!
• WELL I HANG AROUND WITH THE PEOPLE WHO RIDE BMX'S SO WE R NORMALLY DOWN THE WESSIE OR UP THE MULTISTOREY.
• The hook-up spots where all the little boys hang around are places like green-hill rise shops, outside escape, danesholme shops, stinkin lincoln, canada square (dont go there). These places are full of midgets who think they are big boys but they aint. They are all thick little skagheads that need a good slap and are so stupid they cant even get a job in one of the many factories in Corby! Im not gonna name and shame people cuz they wont have a computer anyway but all you little f*ckers know who are!!
• well let me tell u that beanie shops, wedmore court, selsy feild , the boater woods are all classy places 4 u n ur crew to drink ur drink smoke sum dope n get a laugh. watch out for the little gimps who attempt to street rob yo ass. give them a bitch slap n send them home****
• Beany shops have gotta be one of the safest areas to hang about.hangin about n e where else is just askin for trouble.Places like canada square and the arran should be demolished in the interest on peoples health.You cant even walk through the Arran wiv out cummin out wiv a scag needle stuck in ur arm!!!
• Hellenas cafe on the corner of steve way
• The BP garage, get friendly with the staff, dont cause a fuss or hassle the customers and they dont mind you there.
• Beany Shops/ Wedmore Court
• the drinking bench down beenie, up the boater, multistorey in bad weather, colyers park n e where really wiv a bottle of "v"
• my street ...(ribblesdale) it is the best!!..only cus i live there! but i HATE THOSE STUPID SKATEBOARDERS that cant even skateboard rite and just make bangs in the morning to wake u up on PURPOSE!!! go to the wessie or summit and do it in the BMX tracks and leave me to sleep in peace!!!!! PLEASE!! or even better move!!!!! ...the town (sad i kno) swimmin pool car park! the woods in the wessie! round the back of vision! triangle! baotinlake!safeway,asda(sad i kno!)

• We have made Corby what it is so about time for some positive thoughts on this town. I have been away (Not in prison) for 20 years. I love being back in Town.
• By hook-ups of course i mean skate spots, now, my friends and i have found numerous places that are good for street and aggressive skating suck as the underground loading bay next to the bus station and just outside of the swimming pool now that that huge fuckin' building has been demolished (yay!!) , so u see the council made a good decision by demolishin' sumfin for once lol.
• There are no real hook up spots in corby, only the local shops where all the violent little fuckers hang about breaking windows and threatening old people!!
• lets all go round pytchley court shops beat some people up - then go steal a car or two.... oh then why dont we set it alight....
• OUR BLOODY BIN SHEDS
• All the young apprentices studying advanced tennants swilling & celtic top wearing, all freckle of faced (minimum entrance requirement) and ginger fright wigged by birth (entrance pre)are to be found calhooning and staggering around in the summer in the grand old tradition of the early seventies June & July mass exodus and monthly excursion to the region just bordering the western side of the town, quaintly, and indeed in an entirely ironical and satiricle fashion, locally know as, goin doon Cotty, is, where it is all at one might say. Erm, most definately.
• Used to be 'The Friday disco' in the Beanfield community centre. What 15 year old didn't walk from the V.G in Canada square with two cans of Skona lager and a straw. On arrival eat a packet of polo's, spend the next 3 hours pretending to be drunk and dancing to 'you spin me right round' and trying to get off with the famous/in Clocherty sisters. One of them wore my Nike windrunner once! Oh the joy!
• The "closed off" in Great Oakley. Possibly the single biggest pile of 'roaches from reefers in the WORLS EVER!!! Part 2. Then again theres always the one started behind CTC by Louis Brown and all the other Kettering grungers circa 1994.
• for the really sad, the old Woolworths car park
• even though i really hate corby, i loved the summers being a teenager, them 2ltr bottles of omega sitting by the big tree in lodge park woods was great, oh apart from passing pervs, druggies and the odd gluey!!!
• Wots the deal with the kids in Corby hangin at the closed garage on Gainsborough road? ITS A GARAGE FOR GODS SAKE! Not the soddin trendiest night club in town!
• Beanie shops on friday night waitihg for people to buy you cider { how nice}and 10 fags(well hard!!)]then prepare to get beaten up if you dont oblidge! the benches in town centre all them wooly hats and beady eyes! hard innit!!! and its summer waiting to c all the 13 yr olds cumming out of bips on a friday. Subway between lodgy and beanie sitting on the steps waiting to mug any one who passes.
• the dark depths underneath argos and stinkinsons..(wilkinsons)....between 1981-3 plenty of cider and fags....and a great place to hide wen the goin got tuff. the local court...great day out...refreshments....and loadsa bullshit bein spewed out from the guilty tryin to prove their innocence....the who's who of corby....
• when i was 14 i hung around cam close. It was cool at the time but the people that live in the street must have hated us!
• Th Bus Shelter down Cottingham around 1979 to 83. People used to come from all over the world to hang around there and generally discuss things like Modes of alienation,Shakespeare's use of fish imagery to ballance his use of weather imagery to allegorate mans moods,also, and perhaps more importantly, to gob through the teeth with amazing velocity and accuracy, and postulate about the possible density, colour and indeed texture of C. Murdin's bush.
• Boating lake. they all gather there with the cars they have "aquired" when they get board of creating smoke by spinning the wheels, they either create more smoke with a can of petrol and a rag , or send the car for a swim in the lake. If you ever had your car stolen and not recovered it in Corby,try 20 feet below the surface of britains only underwater scrapyard.
• Anywhere outside of Corby
• The pulse new club now extinct
• There is no where to hang around in Corby, you get dirty looks from EVERYONE and always feel under suspicion!!!!
• Canada square shops, lots of little chukkies from childs play running around setting fire to everything.
• This use to be the field down Colyers Avenue, playing football in the winter. Cricket and golf in the summer. Getting some of our older mates to buy us alcohol, from Greenhill Rise shops.
• danesholme shops where you get harrassed by under age smokers and drinkers trying to get you to buy them things with a bunch of pennies
• the hallowed FORK the swing of all swings many a daring escape many a broken bone (mine included)
• The Wessie, any local shops (but be careful lol) any local school-might as well destroy them, outside Maccy D's,
• The boating lake on hot summer nights.
• Corby is boring!!!!!!There is NOTHING to do except swim or go pubbing it.An ice rink would be ideal for the wasteland in front of the swimming pool,as the nearest one is Peterborough!!!
• The school fields of Beanfield school, taking care to dodge the dog turds in the sand pit!
• corby is crap there is nothing to do except slags and drugs.In corby drugs are just a hobby everybody does.99.99999% of people in corby smoke da reefa.even my mum.
• wellandvale, greenhillrise (although not anymore to many cameras), pluto, beanfield, pytchely, etc
• I used to love to partake in a bottle of cider sitting on a park bench at the back of Our Ladys Infants in the Wessie on a nice summers evening with my getto blaster listing to The The back in 1987. Now I sit at home watching the TV with a number of cans of lager
• Farmstead Shops (outside the chippy)
• Safeway near Great Oakley.
• Lodge Park School field. Diamond White, summer nights, lovely. Sadly it is now all fencd in like a prison.
• The real hook up spots, for the young and unemployed, are the local shops. Pytchely Court, Greenhill Rise, Welland Vale e.t.c. boyracers hoon around the car parks as semi pubescent girls look on in awe. At any given evening throughout the year you can almost guarantee on there being 15 to 30 youths (11 to 22) quite often more (50 to 60 has been recorded). This can be quite daunting....... for anybody.
