Rockingham speedway! - itll close soon though cuz they sed it will
The school at the weekends-( cuz of teachers in the week)- u gotta sneak in quietly so the residents dont catch you! If u do make it into the playground theres a smooth bank around the back and some small steps, theres also a couple of benches.
New road is smooth with lots of waxed curbs! although recently the residents keep calling the cops. bummer.
old forge close has a kind of bank and a grass gap. the old peoples home is right next to it so its usually an instant bust!
the village ball has a sloped ramp and a old waxed stone wall. A bit small though
the best spot of all is kingham station which is about 1/2 a mile away from bledington. Awaxed curb there, a manual pad and some ramps and rails which are hidden. come down on Monday night and theres a big session of all the kingham and bledington skaters! sick.
Near the swimming baths or out of town like Desborough or Rockingham
me and all the other grungers skate up civic and swminning baths and the loading bay.
swimmin baths though police come up n move you along sometimes
old bus station, same there though...

go down to tresham collage they have stairs and some waxed rails
A great spot for skateboarding is the swiming baths and the willows complex. There are some good stair sets there. The town centre is great if you like getting chased by security guards (if not go at night). And if yo fancy skateboarding in a skatepark thers always ROCKINGHAM SPEEDWAY.
There are the swiming baths with a mad five-set close to the willows. The town center is good if you like geting chased by security gurds. If not go there at night. Theres rockingam speedway (great skatepark). Oh and to all the ppl that said wessi was good, its not. Thats crap for skateboarding but if your a bmx'r... have fun.
safeway has good stair sets that are very god 2 skate
there is a cool roof gap on tresham collage also there are some waxed rails that we put up there ,there are also diffrent size ledges on the roof the bus station has a cool grind gap that we(duffy neal and joe)were first to do jus next to the esclator. that is all i bid u farwell.

Rockingham Motor Speedway have a skateboard park for locals
Adrenalin alley at rockingham now has a 4ft mini ramp with a 6ft tombstone for all you budding bmx'ers, bladers or boarders. It is also floodlit and tranpsort can be provided to get you to and from your destination for 50p return. Its about time these type of facilities were in Corby to give the young people choices and opportunities to help them do their sport in a safe, secure and supervised environment. WELL DONE TO CORBY WHEELS PROJECT!!!

Rockingham Speedway skate park
by the willows place, swimmin pool, and now rockingham speedway!
There is an actual skate park!! omg! but whats with the name "adrenalin alley" how cheesy!
THE AMBULANCE STATION!
The best spot for skateboarders are probably up the wessie or a rockingham speedway.
nearest is desborough
There's a steel framed skatepark at Rockingham Motor Speedway. Well built but probably more suited to BMX. Half pipe about seven feet high nearly vert, twenty foot wide, various quarters and a very high vert quarter (twelve foot or more to vert) all contructed from high quality masonite style material (see gravity games on Extreme channel - same stuff, also some street launch ramps and a big grind box. Rumour is its staying there. Was free to get in when we went (June 2003), need a helmet at all times. Directions - A45T from Kettering /Corby to east Corby, then A6116 , "Steel Road", and follow the very obvious signs to Rockingham Motor Speedway.
ROCKINGHAM HILL IS A GOOD ONE
over at the swimming baths and the festival hall, and also quite alot of grungers skate about in the loading bays under the town centre
Netto Car Park at night.
The Town Centre after hours.
OUTSIDE THE SWIMMING BATHS, THE UNDERGROUND LOADING BAY, ST NINIANS CHURCH YARD HAS SOME GOOD TRANSITIONS AND THE TOWN CENTRE AS A COURS...........ROUND PAST MCDONALDS, STALL THE BLUE BENCHES, ROUND THE BURGER HOUSE, OVER THE OTHER BLUE BENCHES, MANUAL-GAP THE BAND STAND, TURN RIGHT PAST PARTNERS, ROUND ALL THE MARKET PLACE POSTS AND DOWN THE STAIRS TO THE LOADING BAY..........IT'S A GOOD RUN IF YOU LIKE THAT SORT PF SKATING, I PREFERE DOWNHILL........THEN ROCKY HILL COMES TO MIND.
Outside the swimming baths, the underground loading bay, band stand, through the town centre (benches and hand rails are available)
goto kettering or northampton...
im me so let me sk8 ware i want to sk8 u corby people
There are a few skate spots in Corby me and my friends have found and mashed up. In the winter months it has to be the loading base up town but only go if there is a shit load of you if you know what I mean. Plus never try and skate in the day you get about 2 minutes then your out on your ear. The new Medical centre I have skated it a few times but there is a crowd I see there who I don't know but you can only skate there at night. CCC School had alot of low walls you can wax up and grind also a few stairs. There is also a crooked rail which is deadly I boardslided it once but hurt my self badly. Problems is it is trespassing. Bean field junior school if you can get passed the armed guard and dogs LOL JOke. Old beanfield school I suppose is ok. BP garage can be good before you get shouted at. Of course the town centre and Multi Storey but at night your precense can be unwelcomed by the locals. Woodnewton Juniors has a few Bench's. St Bredans Junior and infants too has mad little bench's. Some places around the lincoln area and Danesholme has a few quarter pipes (NASTY!) Thats all I can think of hope to see you around.
Outside my front fucking door!!!!!!!! fuck off you little besterds in ginger fright wigs and freckles and celtic tops etc etc....
Corby centre is a concrete jungle - avoid the wine-o's and baby buggies.
Not that many. To my knowledge, nothing in the way of railslides or anything you can pull any air from. But if your looking for speed, multi-storey car park, and Rockingham Hill for the suicidal.
The town itself is a concrete jungle try that ! apart from that there is nowhere
High but narrow mini. 8 feet high with 9 foot transitions. 10 feet wide.

Leicester is about the closest, unless you want a Power Rangers one out of Argos.
You usually have to order stuff off of the internet orout of magazines otherwise u have 2 order it off ur m8s.
Allsports sell skateboards.
we dont have any skateboard shops although we should cuz my mate wants me to buy him one. but it aint happenin !!**
Allsports, should change its name to Allskate.
If you need a temporary deck or adjustment tool, go to motorsavers, fair play to 'em they have stocked a good supply of really good boards and hard wearing tools, the trucks though tuff aren't very reliable. One more place for full set-ups is that shitty sport shop next to dixons, they sell all the mainstream shite like airwalk and fuckin' shit half-arsed boards by untited skates.
Woolworths, state of the art Kyoshinto plywood turkey tailed dweeble nuggets in a range of dayglo tosh that were all previously mass manufactured Tamagotchi surplus melted down to be sold to all gulable people with scratch card mentality.Smashing!
There is none in Corby but if there was it would make a few bob especially from me.
there isnt any if you have a skateboard in corby your a freak!!!! its shit you cant do wot you want cause people slag you for it
Woolworths in 1977. Sheer freedom of expression with classic line plastic mags with two ball bearings per truck five inch high seven inch wide four by fours. Dude, surfin judge, not.
What skateboard shops, none other than allsports, but even then they are crap!!!
Topps Estate have finally agreed to Andrew Wetheralls plans to open a purpose built skateboard warehouse and ramp on the site of the former council offices. There sould be 1000sq foot of retail space.
