• There is a vibrant and exciting music scene in Guernsey at the momment, particually for the harder, louder, shouty end of the spectrum . I revisited recently and it blew my head off, marvelous it was. Deffinatly check out Vale earth Fair or indeed anything outside cause the Guerns like their music events. Check out Mechanical Lobster, a local band with c.d out and a web prescence. Also for you older folks the Guernsey Symphonic Winds. It really is a microcosmos of styles and they help each other.
• SPINDRIFT is an acoustic/rock/funk/reggae band based in Guernsey. It's melodic three/four layered vocal harmonies are guided by imaginative guitar sequences and 'squeeling' sax riffs... held together with the bass section which includes Drums, Bass and Djembe.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
