Skateboarding Spots
theres a few skateboard spots... seeing as the liberation monument is "out of bounds" people have to go to the other mini skatepark at delancey park... pile of c***
danny cates was in wellington village (north hereford) on saturday. he was spotted in the village football stand bluntsliding down the 4ft bank metal banks. it was amazing

Ok. I been Guernsey. I SUCKS FOR SKATING! Where the hell are the paths? The roads aren't any good, 'specially when ure going down a hill at 50mph an a car comes round the corner. Dalancey Park is a piece of s**t. Come on, a baby could design a better park.
They got rid of the ramps at beau sejour early nineties!

Beau Sejour Leisure Centre: 12' wide 4' high mini. Also sessions on Monday night inside the centre. Maybe big ramp "soon" -- but since we've heard nothing from skaters there since that was written in June 93, I wouldn't go rushing there expecting to skate vert!
Skateboard Shops
Sail or Surf in St Peter Port has a pretty cool range of boards, trucks, wheels, bearings etc. They've also just launched an online version of their shop at:

there is a small skate shop just by the farm just into the village
I only saw one place there, and that was this dodgy little surf shop, which had a crap selection of decks and very expensive clothes. Not everyone are little rich kids and can afford that s**t
There are a few on guernsey, freedom,sail or surf but the best has to be the surf shop, they put back into the scene rather than butter you up until they got your money then they cant get rid of you quick enough like some shops on the island (NO NAMES MENTIONED freedom).
The surf Shops a good place to hook up, watch a video,cup of tea,and meets the boys pre skate.
they got dope clothes from shortys blind blueprint etc. huge selection of boards and accesories... check it!
