• It's got to be the castle, which is historical, atmospheric, and a great meeting place too!

The Best Things

• the bus to exeter
• Much new blood into the town, a active Mayor, bus links to Plymouth are not bad.
• ummm....errrr....no there arn't any!
• Most people are friendly but always watch your back cause alot of the women are backstabbers and afraid of a little competition!
• The school, Launceston College that is where else would we get to take the mick out of the teachers and generally run riot, No really it's a great place you should come and hang with us sometime.
• I WENT TO LAUNCESTON AND MET MY FUTURE WIFE
• The pace of life is slow and realistic, and people are genuinely friendly.
• There are plenty of roads out

The Worst Things

• Bus links to other places bad. Two many identically chavic dressed drunken yobs linger about the place whether it is day or night. Is difficult to find any young people with any intelligence or sense.
• The 'ladies' (and believe me that term must be applied extremely loosely to anything even vaguely female from this town) listed below, with their comments about the lack of decent men in the town may well be right when you consider that the brain-dead, prospectless dregs of society that socialise in Launceston are probably the only experience they have had of the opposite sex. However, the mainstay of the female population in launceston are either fat and common; wretched and common; young, bitchy and common; or old slags, trying to look young, and common.
• How long have you got?
• The men here are either good looking and wierd or just plain ugly (well, at least the ones I've been out with!) Import some fresh talent please!!!!
• LAUNCESTON COLLEGE. This school is terrible. Low exam results, draconian teachers and a bullying policy which seems simply to state: 'turn the other cheek'. I speak from experience: DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. RUN. RUN FAST TAKE YOUR BABIES AND RUN.
• Just about everything- most of the people there are useless, ill-mannered pions!
• The Blokes there isn't any good looking ones.
• Why is it so hilly? and rainy?

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
