Food
the best restaurant is here! The Charbonnard Wow steaks to die for! definately worth checking out!
best going to wigan mate
The Rumblin' Tum aka Sefton Road Chippy. Voted best chippy by readers of local paper for the last three years. Only one thing needed to to make it truly superb. They should fry in BEEF DRIPPING instead of vegetable oil!
Pubs
York Hotel.. still full of kids
The coast on Queen st, is the best pub food in Morecambe.
Cath makes meals, just like my mother used to.
the oyster bar, quiet at day (good for the old 'uns) but by night a hot spot for all ages
last update said ranch house was violent...can i please put the record straight...as a local for 10 years it is not violent or dodgy, it is a good pub that does not tolerate idiots, they are ejected on their bums and the only rowdy ones in there are the kids!
The sunday session is infamous in Morecambe! Start off in your local with your mates, then off down Queen street ending up in Baroque! I love it!!
Theres alot around nothing particualry special Upstairs Downstairs on the prom never has any trouble and serves food!
The Ranchhouse was always dodgy and violent, and Maggie's Bar nearby was a true drinking den from the old days - proper dangerous but quite fantastic in its own way...
The Cumberland View - quality ale at a quality price. Friendly atmosphere with a great bunch of locals.
The Pallatine - Queens street near the prom. The local Celtic pub, great place to watch Celtic beat Rangers and agreat little spot for live music and karaoke
All the pubs in morecambe suck now.. Kings Arms prices are way too expensive.. Lancaster is your best bet these days.
