Desighn works next to the rising sun. its full of unusual clothes. I love the wide range of girls high heeled boots.
Oxfam
There are plenty of clothes shops, although they all seem to think that only people of size 12 or below where clothes and therefore do not stock decent trews in bigger sizes. Seriously flared cords look shite on skinny tarts!
second skin - skate clothes the only good clothes shop in barnstaple unless you wanna look like some towny scav!
Le Sport (rip-off), Second Skin, Big Star.
Buddys
Primark seems to sell every item of clothing ever sold in Barnstaple. Before then it was Foster's.

EDEN has to be the BEST clothes shop for miles around. Thanks to Jo and Ed for making it what it is! ! !
Quite alot of good charity shops, with lots of old womens dresses and alike.
All the charity ones except for oxfam!
Big Star is the dudiest place, espically if u want labels apart from that its bog-standard high street shops
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
no good art shops in town - blue gallery only place available to buy stuff - crazily overpriced.
there's a rip off blue galler in joy street.
Loads on a Thursday in the Pannier Market, off Butchers Row.
Blue Gallery - Bear Street. pretty good but ell' of a pricey.
Blue gallery.
The Blue Gallery is not, as the name suggests, a porn shop. Unfortunately.
Now and Zen, used to have meditation classes upstairs. V. funny.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
