• new shop recently opened called 61 just by the grapes pub. Some cool clothes in there... bench, levis, mavi, g star, hooch, mooks...
• Big Wednesday... for all your funky surf-wear. Great shop!
• Big Wednesday, Tribal Maniacs, Argos catalogue, betterware, or charity shops.
• If you fancy shopping you'll find a couple of surf/skate shops but you really need to travel to Newquay for the day or even the capital, Truro. Shopping is pretty friendly, ppl here are refreshingly chilled out and friendly.
• Big Wednesdays is getting a new refit, Tesco does a lovely children's line, and M&S wll sell you big panties!!!!! really though the best places are the charity shops (not oxfam or BHF 'cause they're too steep for my pallet)
• Big wednesday and tribal maniac's(for surf clothes) and the usually random selection for the rest
• None, altho big wednesday does have some good stuff, and if you search hard in tribal maniax
• goldfish - brilliant shop, individual clothes, cool funky
• Secrets is good for the hippy type look although they usually have nice jeans Tribal Maniacx is for skate and surf clothing they usually have sum really really nice bits and pieces - labels like Pash, Space, Coca Cola etc
• Secrets sells a colourful aray of flares though a tad expensive. usaual high street crap. charity shops galore yippeeee
• anything other than high street fashion?

Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

• The finest gallery is beside the wave. Always has good artists work for sale. I fancy the girl who works there as well, but don't tell my girlfriend, OK?
• Art College Town. Need I say more?.... huh...okay... there are lots of shops on art. If you wear lots of purple or like tmail drums you'll be okay. Self-Deprecation not required.
• Loads loads loads. Falmouth is very colse to Britains 4th Tate Gallery 'St.Ives Tate.' Its next to the sea man, bit more interesting than the London or Liverpool buildings.
• beside the wave is a small gallery on teh highstreet but holds some cool stuff, the art school has loads obviously, falmouth arts gallery sometimes has good stuff, including some great stage shows.
• FALMOUTH ART GALLERY
• It's a art student colony for goodness sake. And it's cornwall. There are tons of galleries etc. falmouth Arts Centre, Quench, falmouth Art Gallery (above the library on the Moor).
• morning price gallery - the arts center exhibitions
• Falmouth has a posh college of art, so is an arty farty town. loads of art galleries and craft show selling expensive maritime goods. this is the boat in a bottle capital of the world!

Magazine and Comic Shops

• comix & Collectables, TRURO! Unless you like buying your comics from the top shelf in which case the Arwenick St post office has a fine supply. Aparantly.......help i've gone blind!!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
