Food

• Golden Wok do a nice chinese takeaway
• The Golden Wok Chinese Takeaway but best of all Vals Place fish "N" chips.
• chinese takeaway on hamleys corner by car park! HINT: dont park in there overnight if you like you car;)
• Vals Place chippy for a frozen sausage special...
• golden wok, lubbly jubbly, good stuff
• great food at The Royal Inn
• Pasties.
• Vals Place in Par Green is a good Chippy and the Golden wok I think it is called, naer the Libary next to Funeral Parlor is a great Chinese Takeaway. The name might have changed as it commanly does.

Pubs

• Welcome, Par Inn, Royal Inn
• Welcome home - best of the lot but dont say alot, is fairly friendly and good pool table if only 2foot from the walls:( Royal - nice family pub as a rule but misses the play area with the tree thingy that it had when it was "The witch way"! ship inn - nice place with beer garden would be nice in summer if it wasnt for emmits
• Has to be the welcome, its seen it all over the years and is still entertaining!
• The Par Inn is one of the best 'locals' around. Serves well good lager
• The Royal Inn (used to be Wytch Way): fantastic pub, great food, open fir, etc... New landlord & lady took over Xmas 2003, great couple - young & friendly. Highly recommended
• The Par Inn is a good local pub - doesn't serve food, but you get aq good pint!
• There are more pubs than oxygen in PAr. Brittania is good, as is the Welcome Home Inn.
• The Brittannia or brit as well call it, is a top resturant and pub combo. Lots of Students on Fridays and Saturday, because its like the Budgie Cheep.

Cafes and Coffee Shops

• Eden Gate- award-winning cafe
• Coffee shop @ par -- near spar!
• MAMBO'S DINER,Par Beach,the floors are filthy in there,you get hair in your milkshake,the staff and owner looked very unwashed and the flies provide free entertainment...wonderful addition to Par
• There is a coffee shop opening up in Par soon. It is opposit the cut and curl hairdressers and near spar. have fun!
• cant think of one! few places you can grab a pasty but nowhere to sit
• Cafe next to Gateway, lovley brew tis like mother make like ya know.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
