• Chris Martin from Coldplay comes from Exeter - just up the Road. Nigel Mansell lives At Woodbury. Noel Edmunds. Rachel Friend (Bronwyn who married Henry in Neighbours) used to reside here!

Buskers, Street Entertainers

• Have you seen the two guys that drink bizarre drinks and go clubbing dancing like idiots. They are in their late twenties and I beleive that they are in rock bands. The short one is balding. If you see them, take notice, cause they are friendly and funny as hell.
• The loopy DY in Remedies on a wednesday night - still at least he plays your requests - bless!
• Kareoke George! Any pub on kareoke night (esp. the bank and strand) and George will be there shaking his very old thang...
• some dude's always selling the big issue by somerfields or WHsmiths. normally wounldnt class as an entertainer but u should hear the stuff he says when ppl ignore him and walk by *smirks*
• urm, itchey and scratcey? nah, the town crier is kind'a funny, and all the wired people on stilts.
• Can get some talents entertainers, I've seen a juggler once and surpringly some very conscious people who either made protests about student fees and very interesting anti war campaigners.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
