Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
Men's shopping in Exmouth is rubbish unless you want to dress like a 'chav' or an FCUK clone. Womens shopping is equally bad with select and new look ranking high with the 'council lot'. (that's the people that look cheap, naff and chav)
Try SKITZ TRADING in Exmouth Indoor Market - it's BAD! Some great labels, Ecko, G-Unit, Makaveli(RIP), Avirex, Akademics, State Property, Shady, Phat...you name it! Bigger & better than last year - jus need some decent footwear & hats now. Got some cool mini motos too! Check it out!
dont hold your breath for there being a decent clothes shop in exmouth..
Select is a pretty good cheapo alternative to the over priced Dotty p's.
Urban Republic in the sale! then u can jus about afford something reasonably okish...
More charity shops than any other town in the whole of England. Not much else.
Tad is the only decent surf shop, which has moved into town!
Tadshop is the only one. the girl who works there is worth checking out too
Select has a great range of street and urban chick clothes as well as glam tops for evening and suits for the daytime biz stuff
new look or select are the two major ones in town selects clothes can be quite badly made or tacky and new looks ...well.. pretty much like every new look you girls have ever been in.
more charity shops than people (what more do i need to say!)
new look, makaies, things like that.
Tad sells a good range of surfwear, and the staff are nice
Theres a cool shop opposite Barclays bank called Tad - sells surfwear, and skatewear, and kites and boards and stuff. Its probably the only good place
The charity shops, New Look and that other New Look type shop, oh yes the charity shops and car boot stalls
peacocks
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
Worth a look is The Blue Pig on Exeter Road. Smells divine - sells handmade soaps, bathbombs etc. Also very reasonably priced jewellery, gifts, photo frames and all manner of things. Really nice little shop.
JAPONICA-EXMOUTH -They have REALLY lovely gifts, superb candley stuff, photo frames -really a bit different! I always find great gifts here. Even when i don't want to spend much - but they always have something each time - no matterhow much or how little i want to afford!! AND it's always good service, friendly and fun too!
ooo... how about the crap art gallery on exeter road near the library? its all by Barbara Hearn who can't paint to save her life.
Tussie Mussies in Rolle Street for inspiration when you need a nice gift and Japonica for candles, gifts and ornaments. Trudi's do great hair, jewellery and ornaments and prices are great for students.
JAPONICA EXMOUTH FOR CRAFT ACCESSORIES ESPECIALLY FOR MAKING CARDS
Magazine and Comic Shops

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
