• rite first of all i'm not a devonian but i used to come to devon ever year to visit some of me family and people are sayin stuff like its really bad i think exmouth is ace there's alot more to do here then were i liv so you's better get your head out of your arse and apreciate that you have a beach and arcades unlike me yeh your all aload of stuck up snobs

• Driving Schools - just started with LDC in Exmouth - brilliant instructor who is really cool. He has a great sense of humour when the car nearly crashes!
• for the BEST raisin scones in the world and the sweetest clotted cream go to the lil jam/cheese shop in the exmouth indoor market on the corner of the first left hand turn. and can someone agree with me here that the bloke running it looks remarkably like dick van dyke in his chitty chitty bang bang years??
• there are lots of old people here, and the 2nd biggest secondrey school in europe!!!!!!!!!
• The crooked landlords who charge students and locals too much for crappy houses and flats that have seen better days. The lack of cultural diversity doesn't keep trouble out but gives a good basis for the myths that Exmouthians are inbreed. We need a decent cinema, a space for young people to hang out and do something productive and mind stretching with their lives and decent student accomadation for student parents and other mature students who aren't made of money!!!!!
• CASTLE BREAK CAMPSITE: This Place near nigel mansell's golf course is the one place NOT to stay: *NO Music After 7 in the evening!! *NO talking after 11 at night!! *Showers that go from ice cold to scolding hot with no warning!! * A Bar that's never open!! * Supposive takeaway food place - not availible!! * A nature trail that takes about a whole 5 mins to complete!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
