Polkyth Leisure Centre

Poltair Park is the only place with nets, but the grass is always long and the pitch is on a slope. But just above it is St Austell AFC, which has a pretty good pitch. You can usually get an hour or two kick about after 7.30 before some bald guy come's out and tells you to "GET OFF THE F**KING PITCH" and then your forced to go down Poltair Park. And some people wonder why St Austell AFC aren't very good !
porthpean golf club ideal for beginners also alows you to wear jeans as long as you wear a collar shirt, very freindly, oh good trainers no shoes unless there golf ones and remember respect the course.
Rugby Club up past penrice area and Penrice school holds some things at night time... oh and Polkyth Leisure centre
rugby club...good gym
Mountain biking at Luxilyn (excuse the spelling)Valley - great place to crash all day long - sometimes they never find the body.
Poltair (stoner) park!!!

polkyth lesuire center and the rugby club, not bad but could be better.
Polkyth if you want a 60 year old excuse for a pool try living here.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide.
