Skateboarding Spots
Hendra sk8park in truro is only good if you bring a load of wax but its still a load of crap, the only decent thing is the rail but its so small and sticky u cant really land anything good on it,the boxes are pretty crap as well, though its alrite for grinding on it, the halfpipe was quite good before the council took it down, the promlem with it was the coupen was so big u couldent do many grinds along but it was fun for airs and simple grinds.
mount hawke sk8park was good, kingdom magizine said it was one of the best indoor parks in england. but now theve changed it, its probaly one of the crappest, the roll ins well sketchy, they took down the lush shotgun rails and the maxi, the new spines quite good though and i like the grinding ledge by the new 4 set.
id say the best rail in cornwall is along the prom in penzance there also a sweet bowl there to but thats all the way up by som school
Wow I have just seen the design for Truros new skate plaza, hopefully to be started next May, it looks wicked, designed by Anthony Greenwood of Terrain design in consultation with the staff at SJZ Skateshop, it's about time the council let the skaters themselves design it! it is to be situated behind the old squash courts (where the rare unit ramp is now)the plans are on view in SJZ, check em out!

Truro's secret scene is not actually in Truro. It's actually just outside of Falmouth. The place is called Tremough and its the Falmouth College of Arts campus.
Document invites only? Sidewalk invites only? I don't think so boyo's!
Hendra playing fields Rare unit Ramp, some rails, Possible new park soon.

Lemon St for bombing!
Mounte Hawke SK8 Park (8 miles)
SJZ carpark
The mini in Truro is huge, narrow and slippy as hell, the 'park' by that sucks big time. 2 tiny dodgy metal boxes with banks up em (like a foot long- so you can't really get tricks out and over the nboxes) anbd two tiny round rails about ten foot long, ones kinked but the whole place is a disgrace.....
There is a dodgy place to skate out at playing place, it's some bowl type thing but not, it has to be seen really, but over the years peoople have cemented on extra curb blocks and stuff like that, it's really nice to skate, it's a little bit different which makes it interesting....
theres only essjays which is so tiny and we need more - but you cuold just go to newquay or falmouth
GO to the C&A drop by the massive multi-story car park near truro bowl, it is a massive ledge and worth a good sk8. And the essjays car park place is good for street tricks like flips etc. happy sk8in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is the secret scene in truro. You have to look for it it is good skating going down. Invited peeps only and sidewalk and document invited.no its not mount hawke.
the metal half is still there but your better spending a couple of quid and getting your fat lazy ass down to mounthawke, one of the least cliquey parks i know of.
Dreadnought Playing Fields, last I knew of it.
