Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)
Heh, well, the good places to hang out are usually down by Ayr India...we spend a lot of time there...and a bunch of people I know are at the Low Green...they're a bunch of sortof skater-ned people led by a scary girl ned called Lauren...
Me and my friends hang about the graveyard in Ayr....that's the place to be if you're a teenage "alternative"...mosher, stoner, hippy, goth...doesn't really matter..everybody's welcome!
The teenage alternate lot meet up at 7pm at the cinema...it's the place to be...
aritey folks, its the lads in the wee red nissan sunny here. hope uze doin ok. the 2nd shelter dwn the shore front seems 2 b where its at, plenty young ladies struttin their stuff n guys showin off their metal. sweet!!
WE ENJOY THE SHORE FRONT, THINGS R STARTIN TO HOT UP FOR THE SPRING/SUMMER. THE LASSIES ARE LOOKIN SWEET N THE MOTORS ARE JUS GETTIN BETTER. COULD BE BETTER THO, IF YOU GUYS TURNED UP BEFORE 9 O CLOCK ON A FRIDAY!!! WE RECKON ITS GOIN TO BE THE PLACE TO BE THIS SPRING/SUMMER. 2ND SHELTER ON THE PROMENADE IS WHERE ITS AT, BUT IF YOU GOT WHEELS THEN ITS JUST ONE BIG PLAYGROUND!!
Big tellytubby like hill down the low green at the shore
Get down the Greenan shore the best dogging in the west of scotland
ayr india is on the other side of the shore front from the court house good food and a few manuel pads and a good joint rolling area as well EAT SKATE SMOKE
Obviously Belisle, always a hangout for neds with their Bucky!
if you need a place to hang, go down to castlehill woods coz the pigs rarely go up there coz, they find theyd get battered, only go up at night coz you might frighten the kids that go there :P
I think there's a few spots in the Main street that are fairly popular. Ayr never seems to got totally to sleep unlike some towns (Irvine).
Ayr Esplanade - the place to go for the cruisers
ayr shore is the place to be seen. And there are some hot birds eg. black renault clio reg N335 KGA
the old graveyard in ayr, or the underpass beside the high flats on riverside place.
Burns Statue Square seems to be a spot for hanging about. The particular breed known as the lesser spotted ned appears there at night.
i remember the young days when the new seafront park opened and everyone used to sit on the big spider there waiting for some guys, how sad, these days though it's the seafront where everyone goes despite the fact that it's guys with bigger engines than brains and bleached blond sluts looking to shag their brains out. Oh no, i'm sorry but if you were actually above the people who hang out then you wouldnt be looking for a hang out place to go!
Ayr has three main hook up spots. Firstly there is Scrummy Yummy, the only place to get a pizza at 3:30 in the morning. In fact, I think it is about the only place to get pizza at that time. Then there is 24 hr Spar. We love 24 hr Spar. Fags and sweets and juice and lettuce and four tubs of coleslaw are its main specialities. Then of cours you have to hit the taxi office. Unfortunately, CentralTaxi's have now departed, so we have had to explore a bit more. Central was situated close to that Mecca which is known as Burns Staue Square, which is actually abig rectangle. The tramps like Burns Statue Square, and if you like to live slightly dangerously, then you can play a new pastime - ripping the piss out of tramps in Burns Statue Square.
if you like living really dangerously then you can always go to sunny Whittlets. If you don't value your precious life, that is.
the place to be seen is the bus stop on the sandgate. handy for all major amenities
Arthur Street is the place where hundreds of folk head after the clubs empty. It is where drunken youths head to arse around in nicked shopping trolleys and the street also has Scrummy Yummy food shop which gets packed with people (half who have no intention of actually buying scran but just want to dance to the loud music. Arthur Street is the place to be from about 11pm to 3am
the Best hook up spots for the non legals is rozelle in alloway or doonfoot primary but watch out 4 the pigs
Why has Ayr not got a decent night club for over 30's
Ayr Shore - down the Pavilion Road side of the courthouse - is where all the guys with the cars hang around. Watch out for nutters pulling out of the parking spaces in front of you (backwards), some cool bikers doing wheelies (it's the only side without speed bumps), and the traffic police hiding either behind the courthouse or in front of the pavilion. Also watch for the Blue Omega saloon (N477 XWP), the Blue Omega Estate (P???) and the White Granada Saloon (L764 YYS), as these are unmarked traffic cars.
Have fun, look out for the White Fiat Tempra Turbo as well!
Newton Shore - just at the golf course end.
Northfield Park also another good hangout spot
Dalmilling Shops
Outside the 24 hour Spar
The hook-up spot for the tearaways on a friday night(or middle class children with a desire for danger) can be found at the under 18's night at the local nightspot ex's, many can be seen outside the local 24 hour spar (mass respect to spar!) shortly after 10 on fridays.
Everyone hangs about down the beach
Up The old race course is where you'll find all the youngsters drinking their carry out and getting chased by the pigs.
Forhill Skate Park,Ayr college,The benches on the Sea front behind the coart house
The information on the above is sooooo inaccurate it's unreal! I've not seen anyone hanging about Burns statue in ages and ages and ages and ages!!! THE place to be and be seen is on the harbour front. This is the place to be if you've got a car, want to get to know someone with a car, or just simply want to get to know someone! Either that or there is The Sandgate (it's a street!), this is where you'll see everyone heading off for the pubs and Clubs.
The "magic roundabout" at the top of the town - Burns Statue Square.
