• Yes, Some... Mostly Selling Clothes That Even Your Granny, Wouldnt Be Seen Dead In... Come To Think Of It, I Would Rather Walk The Streets Naked... Than Clothes Shop Here !!!
• Adams Apple - Ladies fashion shop (and by that I mean old ladies) A very small New Look, but has most of the stuff in it that the bigger ones do.
• You must be joking. Exeter or Torquay for that.

Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

• Turn of The Tide in the Triangle is has some good stuff, pictures by Sally Anderson (local artist) and various bits and pieces from Devon and Cornwall.
• BEACH ART!!! just go there and have a word with the owner about whats really going on..
• Chuckle Shoes... For That Authentic... "Wow Man... Im Really Like... Off Me Tree, See... Man... Er... Erm... Oh, Yeah... Er "MAN..." Type Druggy Look !!!
• A couple of Art Galleries and interesting trinket shops (look down the side streets)
• well there's the candle shop in the Triangle
• Sadly, Teign Arts Centre has closed down but it is reopening as some sort of gallerly in the summer sometime.
• Teign arts centre, Northumberland place. Nice and cosy family un business. Very twee but the family are accomadating.
• Nothing classy. (Try Topsham or Totnes.)
• Gallery 8 in Teign Street has a wonderful display of articles for sale at very reasonable prices. All produced by local artists and craftsmen. All very high quality and well worth a visit.

Magazine and Comic Shops

• Fantastic Newsagents Fairweather News in Northumberland Place recently taken over by my sister Jill and her hubby Michael. Stocks loads: sweets mags newspapers fags food to name a few. Really friendly service with a smile a must to visit.
• Rutty & Hibberd's is now under new ownership - Denis and Sheila and they always have a smile for their customers.
• We are the new owners of the newsagents Rutty and Hibberd ( We smile and have a laugh all the time. We will happily get any magazine you are looking for. We are here to serve you the public.
• Rutty & Hibberd's now have new, younger owners and I always get a smile from the lady when I buy my cheapo ten fags
• RUTTY&HIBBARDS
• Rutty and Hiberd in a newsagents in Wellington Street, but I don't think that the owners have ever smilied in their lives. (You'll see what I mean if you go in there)

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
