Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
Unfortunatly no, limited selection of indies'. Ealing is a shopping hub containing most of the major outlets, the only indis' of note are on the ground floor of the Arcadia centre. Good Urban styles, mixed gender, all seasons.
people dont realise in acrcadia theres a next to nothing shop. these are the items of next that got pushed here at reduced prices. Always worth checking out. Though west ealings better for slightly cheaper ware than the usuals in ealing broadway.
Central Park! Near to Coffee Republic, Burger King in Ealing Broadway... it's all quite cheap anyway, but if you go down into the basement, it's all £2, a lot is trash but I keep finding really wonderful stuff, like huge purple flares, denim jacket...
MOIST in the Arcadia Centre is the only decent clothes shop in Ealing. It's fucking cool. They have great clothes for guys and girls and sell stuff like Atticus, Bench, Dickies, Eastpak, Goldigga, Hooch, Meatandcheese, Pash, Paul Frank and loads more. No where to get skateboards though, hae to go to Kingston or Camden for that.
huh huh huh
Many high street shops scattered around Ealing Broadway including Beales Dept. Store. Uxbridge offers H&M if you'd rather not venture into city.
Not amazing for male shopping - Moist in the Arcadia isn't bad, bit expensive though

The tarty perfume counter adjacent and prowling security
give and uncomfortable ambience.
To a prosperous middle aged middle class guy just looking
for reasonable priced smart gear the place is a real turn off.
Apart from the usual high street stores, check out 'Next to Nothing' in the Arcadia centre. Next seconds and last years stock at ridiculously low prices. Best if your size 8 or 18.
very mally
none on really great value
The NEXT store in the mall near the Ealing Broadway station is really good and has really nice linens for yer bedroom. Also the BHS in West Ealing is really nice - more colourful and only a quid or so cheaper than Marks and Spenser.
Ealing DOES cater for men's fashion. Pie2 for a start (up from WHSmith's)Then there's Baron Jon and a few more clothes shops in the Broadway Centre. Ealing caters for smart business-wear (Suits You for example) and casual-wear (Sonico Jeans Centre etc.) and then granny's favourites M&S and Bentalls.
All the ladies' favourites - Kookai, Miss Selfridge, Principles, etc. Bugger all for the lads though - typical.
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
aha well there is some on the side roads. Fist hippy heaven. I luv that place. Near postbox. If u folow opposite road round you get oxfam book shop. keep going round and ull see crafts shop and some arty farty stuff around. In west ealing there an art shop for paints..very prestigious looking place. Also hobby craft a big place in westway cross centre near greenford. Not too far at all.
Paint your own at Ceramic Café (fka Picasso's Place) round the corner from Waitrose
Hippie heaven is cool for all craft and more (if you know what i mean!). Good art supplies shops...
there is a really cool art shop near the ealing studios
Ceramics Cafe aka Picasso's Place in West Ealing (near waitrose) pricy but great fun also good for smalll kids party.
There was a fantastic 30 stall antiques & crafts market in the Broadway Centre from 1989 which ran every Friday & Saturday until 1996 when the centre management took it over. What they have replaced it with is ten stalls of crap.
The art shop is interesting.
pretty art student assitants will help you.
They are now bracnching out into general goods
books and bric a brac too!
some rather crappy stuff in broadway centre
nothing real
some home made art shops and stalls

Inner city not exactly New York
"For Arts Sake" on the corner of Bond St is a good spot if you're looking for pictures, or a unique clock or mirror.
Watermans Centre.

Comics and Games on northfields avenue doesn't seem to exist anymore, if it is still there I can't find it! :-(
Good comic shop on Northfields Ave. (actually it's the ONLY comic shop in Ealing!)
Comics And Games - popular shop on Northfields Avenue.
