• The St Peters Hospice is great and its amazing what work goes on in a charity shop to present the clothes and the bric a brac . I know i work in one (not St Peters) and its like Dallas behind the scenes ,serene old dears out the front chatting
• The Mind Shop Cotham and Gloucester Road excellent place for clothes !!!!!
• ALL CHARITY SHOPS Buying new is a fools game for poseurs with low self esteem Keep buying so we can have yer cast off CHEERS
• Ther are no clothes shops of any significance, but there is a good St. John's Hospice shop by the Texaco garage.

Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)

• Secret Universe is a site dedicated to local Arts and craft in Totterdown. Art is available to view and buy and has been created by local artists (South Bristol). Check it out at Secretuniverse.co.uk
• Artists every where in Totterdown ,some very very skilled ,Totterdown is itself a work of art and the garage on Pylle Hill Crescent is the slash in the canva We are getting a DANCE STUDIO as well HOW COOL is that !!!
• Totterdown is crammmed full of artists ,every street is brimming with them !!!!!!!
• ALL ART IS BUNK However some Bunk is rather artist ic NOT the BLOODY ARNOLFINI they wouldnt recognise ART if it stood in their gallery Ive noticed they have got rid of their RoYAL FAMILY Bar staff
• Emporium, Wells Road. A nice line in ersatz Roman Knicknaks. Also another new place just next door to Bottoms Up, Pictures, blinds, pretty tat.

Magazine and Comic Shops

• Dillons But there dont seem to be so many mags these days and all the tits have been covered up "How Beige! "
• Try Broadwalk shopping centre in Knowle - that's pretty comic!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
