I am looking for information of Jimmy Phillips who used to be a local artist in Salcombe I know he died in the 1980's while living in Kingsbridge but he was my grandfather we never met and I would be interested in any information about his family ultimatly I am hoping to find my father his son Lawrence Phillips.

    Redcot is now called "ST brelades" and is situated in Bonaventure Rd. I have been informed it was occupied by a bank manager(who shot himself), but not sure. Also a Captain Markham who was in the Auxiliary fire service ( very much like Captain mainwaring in dads army ) lived their during the war. Hope this helps. Ian

Looking for stepbrother 56-57 yrs old. Father's name R. Gordon Cole, 1943-44, was stationed at Aldershot during wwll. Went to London on leaves, was a gunnar instructor in the Canadian Armored Corps. Returned to Canada when injured in bombings. Mother's name possibly Emma, not sure. only hope that son was told of father and given a name. Anyone knowing of this situation please contact me.
