  • The works cafe .Newtown, really friendly staff. Great portions .cafe severing heinz beans an korkers sausages is a winner for me an kids
  • mcds obviously
  • There's the usual KFC, McDonalds, Wimpy, pizza places, Kebab shops. Good cheap cafe down on bank street (can't remember the name) The County's weatherspoon so it has the usual deals and Man of Kent does meals for 2 pounds which surprisingly aren't that bad. The George does OK food too-always dead though and The swan does Thai....Chilli Bite is amazing for sandwiches. Proper meals/restaurants i;d head out of villageward...
  • the early bird deal at the harvester restaurant, third off if seated before 6 mon to fri.
  • went to downtown diner for a family treat as im disabled and been ill. five people had 3 course meal and drinks and as we went before 7pm it was 25% off and it came to 42.
  • Worlds Wonder - Kenington Road, Warehorne. Good pub grub
  • kfc they make equal oppertunities worth it
  • The Woolpack Beefeater in Hothfield, friendly staff & the food's good too. Don't go to that French chef's place in Wye in the back street near the King's Head. Expensive mediocrely cooked stuff but he knows the English always pay up without complaining till they're outside.
  • Rocky's cafe, Ellingham Industrial Estate - a local Mecca.
  • Chilli Bite make an excellent baguette
  • macky d's, wel thats if u wana eat standin up in a load of chavs n just mayhem. pizza express is a nice place. mind u they're not that filling. pizza hut can be gud, a bit overpriced considerin u can get a quality pizza from asda which costs next 2 nuffin. the curry house down bank street. again quality currys.
  • mcdonalds!!! but mind where ya treshpassin! dnt go 2 piky land!
  • The Old Schoolhouse in Hamstreet is highly recommended - the food is to an almost cordon bleu standard at affordable prices. Nice ambience too. Also in Hamstreet, the Duke's Head has its own secluded restaurant now, with a full and varied menu. The Woolpack just up the road at Warehorne also does a mean steak!
  • Masters restaurant/Old Schoolhouse in Hamstreet offers quality food of an almost cordon bleu standard at a sensible price. The cafe in Hamstreet garden centre also does a great breakfast. What we still lack in Hamstreet is a chippy cum kebab shop cum chinese takeaway. Still waiting!
  • pizza express is goood
  • maccy d's
  • McDonalds 2 Wimpys
  • The comment about Godington road Chinese was excellent It is the best in Ashford and always has been but I think the website needs updating seeing as we now have two new nightclubs NV and M20
  • Crapy takeaway venues and no decent restaurants.
  • Trattoria's Italian is a superb restaurant. Bar 27 is also a great place for lunch or dinner. The Anatolian is the finest Turkish restaurant I have been in and the Little Raj (curry cottage) does a fantastic indian. Also NOTHING can beat the Fountain Kebab shop for a friday night take out. It was voted 2nd best kebab shop in Kent a few years back. Fountain Rocks! Do try the new thai as well as that is great. For chinese try Lamb's Garden.
  • Halfway House at Challock the best Restaurant & Bar around. Real food no frozen rubbish. Real Ales - what a pint of Green King IPA!!!
  • Rocky's Cafe
  • Tin Tin Chinese, bit pricey but very good. Down Town Diner, Great value, early bird offers, great steaks, not a "chain" so must be good.
  • Fountain Kebab is the second best in the country, very nearly chilli sauce perfection, donor meat could do better
  • cafe salsa is not the place to go if hungry
  • yellow fisherman on the high street opposite cancer research does wicked fishnchips with a great curry sauce. if you fancy a walk the kennington fish and chip shop is even better.
  • The County's Burger and beer deal is second to none, just ask Joe Hamilton who spent his year out in there.
  • Takeaway heaven (unless you like food you can identify)
  • mcdonalds is evry1s favourite
  • Mackers KFC Bugerking Pizza Hut etc.
  • There's a new Thai take-away by the Tank. Food good, but it's never ready on time.
  • Smak donalds the Chav haven, about midday it's crawling with them, gathered to worship
  • For kebabs it has to be Ashford Grill over Fountain any time - the chilli sauce at Ashford Grill is frightening...
  • The Chilli Bite - scrumptious
  • Harvester, Kennington. The salad cart is a meal in itself! Lovely atmospheric decor as well
  • More kebab shops that you can shake a very big stick at. Haven`t had food poisoning yet so they must be pretty safe considering the ammount I have eaten! 3 Mc.D`s, 1 Burger King, 2 Pizza Huts and a partridge in a pear tree.
  • Trattoria in bank street serves great Italian.
  • mac donalds! (we've got 3!)
  • Hooden on Hill, Hooden on Water, Hooden Horse all sell excellent food, which is two for one at certain times on tuesday evenings and wednesday lunch. Hmmmmmmm.
  • Frankie and benny's , drive thru KFC, Burger King and MC Donalds.
  • Cheap and tasty snacks and specialities at Barry's Kitchen on Bank St. Mulrooney's wine bar, High St, is also an excellent place to nosh. Hooden on the Hill is good for food and has a lovely beer garden. Bransky's nice but a bit more pricy than Barry's Kitchen. The best Chinese take away is Hong Kong Garden on Godinton Road. Mmmm...lubberly.
