Members of the public will be welcome to attend and support friends or family taking part in the event. Nick Pollard, director of Totally Insane said, ‘This is our second charity event and we hope that the hard work going into this game-a-thon can help such a deserving charity as Teenage Cancer Trust. It has attracted top gamers from Ashford, as well as from further afield, so the standard will be high. ‘Each participant will be given a sponsor pack in which they can help the charity further with sponsorship for the event. A minimum sponsorship of £15 is required to participate and there is also an entry fee of £18 payable at the door. This will include 24 hours’ entertainment, food and the chance for participants to harness their skills and win some awesome prizes. All competitors will receive a TI goodie bag on entry with some rather nifty contents (including a Totally Insane 24 t-shirt and a mousemat).’ Only a few slots remain, so early booking is advised.
