Cinemas in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire*

Places to go to see the latest releases

You can tell us more about Aylesbury.

Cinemas
  • Everyone always complains that the cinema is waaay too small, and it is compared to the one in MK, but it still shows good films and is altogether a good cinema to go to
  • Odeon is strict as fuck, but the staff are pretty stupid, even at 18 with booze in your hand you can get away with a 14 ticket. Just don't try and sneak in. Also good for filming in, recorded a few good movies sat at the back on the double seats. Oh, and if she's a quiet one, you can get away with anything in the corners.
  • Odeon cinema is actually not too bad, there is a bar in screen 6, and I think you can take drinks into any screen now.
  • odeon, bottom of market square
  • Odeon is shite. I miss the old fleapit on Cambridge Street
  • The cinema in aylesbury is pretty good, but take your own drink because the ones in the machine that you help yourself too are flat or have no flavour
  • the old odeon was better. i hav so many memories and the nu 1 has bloody air conditioning which makes me feel cold weneva i go in
  • Odeon complex in aylesbury. the hollywood suite closed in late 2001, why well like the coffeee shops its simply barking up the wrong tree-aylesbury is relatively poor for poorer people and is at the end of the day north bucks-so charging kensington and chelsea prices for tickets -doesnt work!
  • Too expensive
  • The cinema has most of the latest films and previews.
  • it's a big old odeon 5 screen i think very nice!boyfriend works there next door to yatses not far to walk when works over
  • It's like a cinema, big screen, lots of seats and over priced popcorn.
  • Probably the best cinema in the UK...the staff are friendly and there is a special man there that makes your visit even more enjoyable!!!!! Enjoy and RELAX!!!!!!!!
  • The multiplex is ok for a town of our size.
  • the new Multiscreen is ok...love it!
  • its ok, that big thing, but its a cinema. WOOOOOO
  • i have to travel miles to get to the cinema because its the only one near me
  • The big Odeon is a very good cinema. Bit pricey but the seats are divine, and the sound system is awesome!
  • Theres a large odeon but the times there are crap and its not very friendly. Its worth travelling to Wycombe to the UCI because it has better selection and services. Jardines bbowling alley is ok but VERY expensive
  • mmmm quite good and they sell ice blasts which r like soooooooo yummy cherry rules oh yeh if ya get 2 go in2 the old hollywood seats ya get extra luxuary for the price of luxary!
  • odoeion - ok but pricey got nice girls working in the sweet shop asked for a quickie once in the stock room and got a slap
  • PLease someone relaucnh the old Odean (which is falling to pieces) and turn into a indepednent cinema showing cult films...?
  • Cinema's ok but often has big queues; the staff there seem to be a little, how do we put it, challenged?
  • First there was the Odean, then there was a new ABC Cinema, then Odean bought the new ABC Cinema.. so now we have the Odean again...
  • well it has one.........a big one............with a car park.....that's it
  • Cinema prity cool high prices though
  • ABC cinema Jardines and shit places like that
  • SMALL multi screen cinema, the large 12 screen one that would have been built was blocked by the council.
  • The new ABC cinema is worth a visit. It's quite expensive but they sell good popcorn
  • the old one was fine + nice n sleazy. new un is a fleece
  • where has the odeon gone! we want cheap cinema tickets, not the overpriced ABC tickets
  • ABC cinema is wicked, but i heard it is being taken over by Odeon again, so no doubt it will tuen into another shithole
  • Havent been, wouldnt know.
  • The new cinema is good, especially with its 'extra luxury' seating which you have to pay for. But the chain who run this cinema (and the one at XScape in Milton Keynes) serve up lousy cheese sauce and skimpy rationed portions of Jalapeno Chillis with their Nachos. Also quite expensive. If you can manage the travel, go to the Point in Milton Keynes!
  • yeh we have a cinema it's new with wicked steps and rails too
  • The new ABC Cinema in Aylesbury is amazing, I am talking about the 'Hollywood suite'. It's like sitting in your own armchair, the seats are so big and comfy. Not only that but they allow you to take beer into the film. What more could you want?
  • abc
  • ABC Superplex the most expensive cinema in the UK
  • There is a brand new 6-screen ABC multiplex that has now been open for about 6 weeks or so! The old cinema is going to be an extension for Sainsbury's to expand into - oh, cruel fate! The new ABC features a screen called "The Hollywood Suite" (must've taken a long time to think that one up!) where for £10 you can enjoy a drink in the en-suite bar (£2.40 a bottle!) and even take the drink to your seat whilst you watch the film! The only drawback is the no smoking rule, but you can't have everything, can you?
  • Nearest decent cinema is either Warner Village at Park Royal West London or new cinema at Luton
  • Watch this space for the new Cinema complex currently being put up!
  • The Odeon has the advantage of being local. Go to Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempsted, High Wycombe or even Slough instead.
  • An old Odeon (flea pit) and an all singing all dancing 'newie' being built.
