  • Ken - mainly found in the Ship but known statewide. Looks like the "GET OFF MY TRAIN!!" guy from the movie "Ghost". Wisdom includes "Don't buy half a pint - they go down faster". Also, where's Mad Sam these days?
  • Admitedly Spider is a Big Issue seller, but he's a lot more entertaining than that crappy busker with the Tin Whistle.
  • Has anyone ever seen that freaky man quite tall, weird haido, hops when he walks and always says alright to you in a freaky way, walks into town along the wendover road paralallel to the train track? And he always has a black man in a black hoodie follow him about 3m behind. God dat man is weird.

  • eccentrics wouldnt fit into this place-simply because everyone is desperately middle england and trying to be more normal than normal in a sense the total opposite to high wycombe-theres no danger in aylesbury, no edge, less crime -but a stiffling boredom-no barking up the wronhg tree to find eccentrics here-oh unless you mean being a metal fan or a goth or punk-in or anywhere around aylesbury-or being foreign thats pretty eccentric by aylesbury standards.

  • Only street entertainers in Aylesbury are the less-than-clean people that shout "BIG ISSUE".
  • Not a lot on the street apart from the big issue. There is one guy who busks outside friars square. He is about 16 and plays sax. Hes alright. Others come and go.
  • I used to know a guy called Wil from up north. He would busk in the High Street, singing Nirvana's "Rape Me", but ala northern. It was hilarious. "Come on luv, rairp me". v funny, honest.
