You can tell us more about Aylesbury.

Skateboarding Spots
  • Morrisons multi, stoke skate park
  • In Fairford Leys there is a nice smooth 3 set. It's in private property though so you gotta roll straight up to it. Be carful not to land into the stones either or your screwed. It's located near the bandstand
  • There's a few hidden local spots, that the locals WON'T tell you about at aylesbury vale skatepark. Head to wendover, if you go to the massive statue on top of coombe hill you can see (past the golf course) theres a barn. it's an old wool mill. theres a halfpipe WORTH checking out in there, make sure to bring a brush and maybe, a few nails, it's been a while. Farmer Giles- its an old foundary completely cleared so it's just flat concrete, we built a QP there and a couple of kickers, if you're lucky you can find out grind rail if someone hasnt gone off with it. Maxwell swimming pool - If you can get in there they're not much in theyre apart from scary rooms and haunted toilets, but perfect for building something. Vale Skatepark- best local skatepark arounnd there, it's not much but it's better than wendover by miles.
  • Whilst theres a skatepark in the park now, its a bit small for me! Best place to go is in the underground bus-hub! Or just around the town... Theres some pretty good places out there beisdes the park!
  • the bandstand in the center of fairford leys - ledges all the way around it and four 6 sets (some are a bit longer than others and some are a bit higher)
  • skatepark in th vale park! awesome, if a litttle cramped
  • The 'Millenium House' office block has a big car park thats nearly always empty and you can't see it from the road. Good for lines, and just general practice/ hanging out
  • Go to the Aylesbury Grammar school.....sick roof gap over a five set...smooth banks and sets...and a crash mat is here that you can set up to land on if you are a bit shakey
  • the donkey punch bowl
  • There is a skate board park opposite QD,
  • skate park, around aquavale
  • Well went down to the location of the portable skatepark and the new permanent skatepark is being built so far they have built a halfpipe and flat bank the halfpipe/slash mini is large it has a 6ft section and a smaller section and the park is all metal. The good news is they are extended what was the area for the portable so they can fit more stuff in. They say it will be ready in a month but I'd expect maybe 2
  • The centre of Aylesbury aint the best for it, but there are lots of smooth banks at the multicultural car park, if you go to the library down one of the alleys is some two big sets of stairs (too big 4 skating) when you reach the top turn left theres a building with 3 sets and smoothness you can also get to it from the back entrance of friars square near the lifts. QD is ok, big 3 and a drop off they've taken bricks out but even the lower skilled people should be able to avoid the missing ones or ollie over them, also a drop off outside. If you go looking for the enfant schools they are the best, seriously! If you go down Wendover Road heading in the direction of Bedgrove past the Grange at the next roundabout take a right, down there is a school has gaps, flat banks, small benches and large ones, a 7 set and some ledges. Then go across the sports field and they is a school that is so good to skate there is a nicely waxed curb, loads of benches and lots of smooth playground areas, especially good for lines. There is also small rails and a lower playground with a big 3 and a skatermade log and flatbanks, it is good! By the way they turned the wendover ramp into a full metal mini halfpipe which is shit. By mini halfpipe i mean not long but very steep don't use it, a girl that I know, her brother died on it, on a bike. Also then skatepark in Aylesbury came and went it was ok but it was masking taped to the floor! They had designs up for the new park it looks rad really good.
  • New skatepark opening in Aylesbury in the vale park opening end of March. bike & board consulation group, instlation by Gravity. contact Soul Carve (shop) for updates. Wendover has a new mini.
  • Before GD was built ther was a Co Op, the stairs there was where skaters went.
  • vale park
  • Down the blue leany just for a laugh and the ambulance will be quick from Stoke Manderville
  • aylesbury is shit for skating it even said so in a magazine
  • Yeah uh... try round the library and Bus centre. watch the back cos there are gaurds sometimes. Watermead is also good- but nothing great. On the way to wendover there are a coupla ramps- but they aint in good nick- so watch yer teeth ya hear?
  • anywhere in the friar centre
  • COOL BUILDING WITH 3 SETS OF STEPS CALLED 'Equitable Life Insurance'Near safeways, also it has a mother fucking big big big ledge to grind! + safeways has some hella pro stairs!+ whover says shit about banks is lying like hell, there are none. at safeways there is usually mother fuckers, just knock em the fuck out! kevs.
  • check out the drops and steps around watermead, nothing too scary but fun never the less.try the drop off a thin ledge outside halfords [night time].cambridge street has some steps outside the royal mail st has a bank /grind/gap thing opposite bt centre [old part] has loads of doorstep challenge ledges !bank to wall at the magistrates court .dodgy run up banks at guttman centre [stoke mandiville hospital] and also rail and steps, gaps etc
  • You must be joking about trying to skate those target banks, i suspect that you got your info from RAD magazine in the late eighties.Because it made me laugh then as well!Nice drop off in the bus station {evenings only, security guards during the day ]and a few bung on handrails nearby.check the college out and also the car park near the multi cultural centre.and also various schools quarendon and grange etc
  • outside bus station, the town square and outside the cinmeama on the steps
  • The park on the way to wendover had a skateboard ramp dunno if it still there
  • Banks, hundreds of banks. One 10' high, 3' high with grindable lip etc. Target Building sounds like a bust to us.
