Where to go to get down

You can tell us more about Bexhill on Sea.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
  • There's no better place than the Rowing Social Club in Cannel View East for cheap beer pool darts and a good laugh with the right kind of chaps.
  • I don't think there is any clubs in Bexhill? If you fancy a 6 minute train ride go into Hastings where there's plenty of clubs. If you need a taxi home from Hastings on a friday/sat night call car miles on 01424 441234. They'll get you back to Bexhill for under £10. Never use the metered taxi's outside spoons!
  • The Continetal. The most awesome club in the world. It costs 100 to get in and well worth it.
  • The bell(end), THe HARP!! The Ice Cube (ahem), the sport bar innit bruv
  • HARPERS BAR, Hastings. - Downstairs:- Excellent Guitar Bar, with Guitars hung around walls for free use by clientelle.
  • The Continental on the Seafront near the amusement arcade, opposite the yachting club
  • The York Hotel in Bexhill is not a hotel but a great friendly bar open till late. it has a great atmosphere with hardly any trouble and a wiked team of staff!!!!!
  • hastings pier or eastbourne
  • Clubs??? In bexhill? ha ha ha. The continental is called a club, but only go in there if you want to be reminded of the war from the local roffensians sipping their bitter and picking out peanuts from their dentures. the only other clubs are 'golf clubs', which everyone in SIDLEY carries, in order to help in the descision to hand your wallet and mobile phone over.
  • the good old cont no young un's here but grab a townie
  • What a shame Shunters doesn't exist anymore!
  • The Continental - didn't deserve it's reputation - friendly staff who knew how to look after the customers - new owner - no more friendly staff - just an ageing essex girl owner without a clue - give it a go if you want to wait half an hour for a drink - the local police even take part in the cabaret.
  • 'SHUNTERS' oh my god shunters where the sidley scum went for a day trip. the worst music (whigfield saturday night and every ace of base and roxette track all this joy every weekend) who remembers brandon the DJ what a waste of talent. is tony pagem still living? and the wonderous 'CONTINENTAL' does that scouser pat kelly still take money on the door and sell 'other stuff' down in that mank hole of a place, have they redecorated after the fire?
  • shunters the club nxt to the esso garage with that pointless shin high wall thats no good for anything, which at 16 i fell over in a drunken state (yes i was actually going to shunters for a night out) and cracked my head open i still have the scar today! cant forget the lovely continental oh what a place of fun and forlics george loves it down there the only fully paid up member coz you cant get in the cont with out being 25 or over and a member, you get cheaper rates if your a member its great.
  • The Continental on the sea front is really quite nice. The restaurant serves good, basic food in a friendly atmosphere. The nightclub is the only club we've got, so you'd better like it. (I don't count the Entertainer, which is a 'pub with dancing') Not much hard house, but not bad for a bop. Gets stupidly crowded about midnight. Bad news:- It is only open on Fri & Sat nights.
  • Try the British Legion in London rd.Groups on some saturday nights, great snooker hall and darts, friendly club and staff
  • THE CONTINENTLE! a smallcramped cellar no room to swing a cat!
  • The Continental! Full of old slappers desperate for some action on a Friday or Saturday night! Young lads just go to keep drinking!!!
  • y is it that under the clubs part u fail to mention the crypt? it maybee in hastings but it rocks!(well... its the best club round here ne way)
  • What clubs! There are none in Bexhill unless you count the Continental on the seafront which you really shouldnt! Head to Hastings where they have the G-Spot and the soon to be opened Surreal on the seafront.
  • As in Sequence or Line Dancing?!
  • Check out the Continental Club (on seafront)- best unknown DJ I've seen/heard - plays good stuff - pure gold !
  • Well there is a god because the continental got burnt down a few weeks ago, hooray The place called shunters is now called Dr Beechings and is supposed to be trendy but it employs dumb ass bitches and is totally overpriced, and if you like drinking 1 metre away from a petrol forecourt then thats fine. So either go to hastings if you want to end up in an ambulance because at least 5 people get carted out of the club in an ambulance bleeding prefusely!! Eastbourne clubs are a bit better just a few riots now and again!! Brighton or London are tops so spend that little extra cash and have a decent night out dnacing and screwing
  • I think the club refered to (on the seafrount) is The Continental.(Sounds classy doesn't it?) Do not go there, unless you want to be hit on by a middle aged divorcee who smells.
  • THERE ARN'T ANY HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Shunters is no longer a club, it is now a restaurant under a different name.
  • non exsistant catch the train to hasings,eastbourne,brighton...
  • Bexhill is not famous for its clubs, however there are a couple of haunts to visit. One is near the Pavilion for over 21s only and it is dire. DO NOT go there unless you like getting your head kicked in - can't recall its name. The other club was called Shunters. Do not go there unless you are an exchange student or under 16 as you will not have a good time.
