  • Crafty places beside town.
  • Avalaan Shop on Gloucester road sells art sketch books, and a massive selection of canvases and prints by famous graf artists from around bristol, 45RPM, KEV MUNDAY, well worth checking out!!
  • hobby shop at the top of the glouster road, and a painting place in wesbury where you get to paint things like bowls and objects.
  • BADGES! if you're into badges, then has a great range of exclusive designs, including GRAFFITI pieces from all over the world. Bristol based, they have an online store at so get with it!!
  • New gallery/shop Soma in Clifton Arcade on Boyces Ave in Clifton Village. Sells illustration and art prints by leading illustrators to recent graduates. Sells ceramics textiles and fab jewellery as well. Great for individual gifts as well as for treating yourself.
  • Great new shops/galleries in Boyce's Arcade in Clifton Village, selling jewellery, art, ceramics, kitsch, etc. Also BiHand in St Georges Rd. (round the corner from the bottom of Jacobs Wells Rd.)has beautiful, trendy stuff.
  • Here Shop and gallery 108 Stokes Croft. Or Arnolfini when it opens again.
  • 2004: The Guild on Park street. The Arnolfini is a modern art gallery by the docks, with a good art book shop in it. Also keep an eye out for graffiti by Banksy around Bristol. there's a large piece by him on Gloucester Rd on the side of a building.
  • Arnolfini has some very odd modern art going on.
  • check out some of the stalls outside st nick's market on fridays and saturdays

  • Suburbia - Clifton Village - great for classy unusual gifts and stuff for around the home
  • The Arnolfifni Center on the dockside
  • Heaven on Earth is now situated on Kingdown Parade in Kingsdown
  • Bristol Guild (Park St) - extensive and expensive range of arts, craft etc plus quite a good foodie bit.
