The Knowhere Guide

The Worst Things in Caversham, Berkshire*

The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it

You can tell us more about Caversham.

The Worst Things
  • Unwashed workshy dolescum that hang around the Amersham Rd area
  • Caversham traffic bottleneck
  • Myalacarte ................ pretentious and snobby which could be overlooked if the food was any good, but despite writing a good menu which stresses the locality of its ingredients the chef is rubbish. Bland tasteless food presented with a chefy flourish. Avoid it and go over the road to the Weatherspoons at least that does what it says.
  • Too many schools in one small place = big traffic jams every morning when I'm trying to get to work.
  • Too many schools and that equals too many kids and that equals too many Mums in cars in rush hour taking their brats to schools that are only 100 yards away from their houses.
