  • Kindred Spirit is my band. We are a five piece with excellent vocals / musicians. Our incredible electric violin player has recently been recorded by Ian Gillan of Deep Purple. see http://www.elainesamuels.co.uk
  • I play with a duo / band called "Kindred Spirit". Our electric violin player (a local hero, since he was accidently heard playing a duo gig with me at the Bull PH in Bentley by Ian Gillan - from legendary rock band Deep Purple - who was so gob-smacked with his playing that he immediatedly got him to record solos on his current recording project straight after the gig) lives near Farnham, which is why we do quite a lot of gigs in the area. We play real live music - that is with no recorded backing - just the sounds we make from our instruments and voices on the night. In pubs we play a mixture of classic tracks from the '60s to present day, some rockier numbers (like Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower"), some of our own material and fast jigs & reels. We always give material our own twist and we are famous for our version of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". You can hear what we are like from our web site www.elainesamuels.co.uk You will also find a gig list and associated comprehensive "pub guide" on this site - with maps, addresses, beer & other drink information plus photos and comments about pub facilities.
  • Look out for The Make-Shift Stiffs. We are kinda Ska and Funk and Rock.
