Family History Search by Jean Gray (Member 10114018) on 3-May-2006
I have been researching my Family for 6 years now and have now come across part of the Family from Lewisham. There were quite a number living and born in Lewisham between the years 1790-1850++. The Surname is STRINGER and they at one point came from Church Grove in 1857. I think the Church they used was St Marys.

Morden Hill by simon (Member 10169856) on 19-Nov-2005
Considering buying a house on this road - anyone know much about the road and the area around it?
  • Re: Morden Hill by Gemma Moore (Member 10230053) on 4-Aug-2008
Lol don't do it. I used to live on the corner of morden hill near connington road. It is a shit hole, in fact so is lewisham pretty much. Convenient for Tesco and the DLR to get in to the city, but it's not a nice area there at all. I got harrassed by men everywhere I went and had weirdos ringing my door asking for cash all the time, and i got headbutted on the bus! lol pay the extra cash and go to greenwich!
