  • The people - generally speaking. But you're also a mile from the sea with your back to open countryside. Brilliant.
  • Well i tend to disagree with the poster who said that steve "i am now in prison for being a paedophile" holderness deserves a medal.

  • MR CAHILL GOT PUNCHD!! HAHA TWAT
  • You can get to the shops easily without having to fight your way through traffic.
  • Clean(ish) air
  • I've lived here for nearly ten years, and it's the people that make this town what it is. It's full of friendly characters.
  • The steam railway. A bustling High Street on a sunny spring morning. No Park Far,/Hawkinge style sprawl, no out of town superstores and industrial estates. The unique Romney Marsh countryside. The even more unique landscape at Dungeness. The fact that the High Street seems to have survived in spite of the new Sainsbury's coming to town. Good bus service to Folkestone.
  • being able to commit a crime and not having to worry about any policemen coming, just ask the little cunts that keep causing hell in the town,
  • - Me - My friends - My house - Road Cones - Cheese - Dolphin Dudes
  • Bunking off down The Track
  • Generally friendly peeps! Excluding local "rude boys" The disco nights karaoke My buddies The New Sainsburys being built
  • Southlands youth club. Steve Holderness deserves a medal for all the work he does there.
  • The water.
  • The food in the cinque port arms next to cheap jacks, they do the best homemade pizza, but dont ask for hot and spicy they go stupid in the kitchen.
  • Its near the sea and the beach in LittleStone is great ( if a little windy )
  • It's not Lydd!
  • That any where you go is an improvement
  • * Southlands PTA, Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, Printing at New Romney, Channel Commercials, Romney Glass and Rolfe's Hardware all sponsored new tents for the Youth Centre. * The Youth Centre's bright yellow minibus. * The Knowhere Guide to New Romney getting onto the front of the local paper (Thursday 22/6/00)
  • The sea and not living there anymore
  • Drunken walks down the Avenue
  • friendly, small place where you can grow up pretending that you live somewhere relly cool and happening.
  • The sea is near
  • HALFPIPE,PUBS,HOBBIES SHOP,COUNTRY MOUSE.
  • The swing park, St Martin's field, the Chemist.
  • Nothing wrong with Magpie Treats Toy Shop - shame it has now closed!!! Try the Mapgies Cafe opposite the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway station - they serve a mean breakfast, yum,yum...
  • Romney Bay House at Littlestone has recently been named the best new Country House Hotel in the UK.
  • The picture at the top of the page shows the early warning system built (I think) between WW1 and WW2. The idea was that the dish amplified the sound of any attacking planes coming across the channel. I don't think it worked and was replaced by radar by the time of WW2.
