What Difference Would Extra Income Make to Your Life ? by David Taylor (Member 10103609) on 31-Dec-2008
Hi

Why not make a new resolution to change your life in 2009. I am looking for people who have experience in the Financial Services, Utilities or Sales Industries. I can offer a good opportunity for those who are prepared to put in effort on a part-time basis with a Footsie 250 Plc company to earn a regular residual income for life.

Visit my website www.securityforlife.info for further info... more >>

tumber family/2 Clapton Cottages by jacky hollis (Member 10229837) on 30-Jul-2008
Hi guys
Trying to find any info on local Tumber family - my dad's mother was Ethel Emily Tumber, her dad was a police constable at the New Romney police house. I was christened at St Nicholas church and I know a relative lived very close by there - I suspect a Tumber. Dad used to live at 2 Clapton Cottages - I've been looking for info for ages - any hints or suggestions VERY gratefully received! Jacky x

    Hi Jackie.
My great grandmother is ethel Emily. My mum has a picture of you with Percy Blackwood outside St Nicholas church on the day of your christening. She has often spoken of you and wonders where you are. My email address is brianhill@aol.com. Look forward to hearing from you.

When I lived in Lydd in the 60`s I was friendly with Sandra Blacklocks whose mother ran the local grocery store in lydd village. I lost contact with Sandra when she moved to Scotland. Does anyone know what has happened to her, I would love to get in contact.

The Dormy House Hotel is no more but I don't know when it shut. In the 1960s I stayed in the rather less grand Grand Hotel across the street but that was replaced by a set of flats many years ago. I plan to visit Littlestone in summer 06 to mourn my lost childhood so I'll see if I can find out about the hotel and caravan park.
