Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • Great un welcoming city
  • Both cafes in longton (cafe delight &goldfish bowl) have filthy minging toilets. View the toilets before you eat. If the toilets are filthy what are the kitchens like?

  • Go to reubens in Newcastle if you can fit in. id advise you try a Brie and Grape French Stick or similar
  • coffee is good
  • BRITS CAFÉ!!!!!!!!!! Best tea in the county
  • There are many 'coffee bars' and the like in Newcastle and Stoke but remember there is nothing cool about sitting next to an old tramp with a rash!
  • Chicago Rock cafe, Hanley. Alright if you've got all day to wait for some food!!
  • Stoke Cafe Stoke Town (NOT HANLEY)
  • Chicago Rock Cafe. Don't order food unless you've got all day to wait. Pretty good otherwise.
  • BB's do gorg hot chocolate wiv marshmellows in and edwards in newcastle do sum nice food!
  • Christchurch Sreet licenced Cafe City road Cafe
  • spires in cheadle near quicksave
  • You must be joking!
  • Dreadheads
  • Jumpz internet cafe in stoke just cos there is never anyone in it!
  • Are you JOKING?
  • New and trendy cafe bars opening all the time. Around Hanley there are the places you just have to open your eyes. New theatre modern bars next to the REgent
  • Don't go Hanley bus station unless you want to be poisoned or die very prematurely from all the passive smoking! Spencers is a sandwich bar in Hanley and is very good and not too expensive!
  • neat little cybercafe on the kingsway in stoke... pretty cheap and a nice relaxing atmosphere.... go see it :) think the website will be up pretty soon also... :)
  • Not really, they're mostly pubs. The only one I can think of is the blues bar.
  • None that are open on Sundays for the hungover looking for a greasy spoon.
  • reubins in newcastle,a fantastic bagel bar!
  • Forget cool - Munchies caf is cheap, a bit wierd but serves brilliant food including great oatcakes.
  • Terrific lack of these in Newcastle where I come from, although as we all know there's plenty of pubs to make money out of the skirts and shirts. There's an Italian caff off the Ironmarket that does a good breakfast, but as for 24-hour vege cafes (like Insomnia in Glasgow), none.
